Tommy, your Watchmen are nothing short of incredible.

I love that spraypaint move with Rorschach.

Your skinning has really improved, too! The pants on the Comedian are great.. I can't do anything halfway as decent as that. :)

Wow. Simply wow.

Amazing Watchmen. That Rorschach is something else, Tommy. Excellent job!

And the Comedian! I cannot describe how cool that is. Words fail me...

Keep it up, Tommy!

Indeed! I would have to say my favorite part is th running anim. it is just perfect looking for him! Great work!

Thank you all for the kind words.
More progress. I only have the belt stuff and cowlick to do.
Then its the weapons/holsters and animations. For animations I might just be lazy and use Grenadiers checkmate or similar..

Champion 2 of 11

Shoot for his animations I say use Grens Punisher mesh with the flame thrower, rifle, grenade lancher, etc....

TAP43

Hey 2 of 11, That was Texas jacks punisher mesh

tommyboy

It's a moot point.
I don't have the max file for any punisher mesh, period.
So no animations from any punisher mesh will be in this Comedian mesh.
And it looks like I'll animate it myself anyway.

yell0w_lantern

I'd say that the Comedian looks like one of your best skins so far. Usually the faces look sort of vacant but this one looks quite a bit more expressive.
Yellow Lantern smash!

That would be because I didn't actually make it. I just stuck Dave Gibbons face on the mesh a la photoskinning, and tweaked it to fit.
Of course I did make the mesh's face resemble the character in terms of geometry, ie chin, nose, mouth, hair. But cant take credit for the face texture really :(

Holy crow Tommy, you really are kicking butt on these new meshes.
Could there be a Silk Spectre in the works as well?

Since I do seem to be hitting my stride with these (probably because of my love for and reverence of the source material), yes, I do plan to do more, and yes, Silk Spectre will be among them.
Oh, and my making any of them is by no means a comment on nor criticism of any skin or mesh that already exists. I make them because I want to, even if there are already great versions out there. Sometimes it's redundant of me, but I like making stuff.
Now, back to that Comedian chap for me...

Gremlin

That's fantastic, Tommy. It's really detailed!

Tommy--

I could hug you so many times right now it's probably rated R.

Outcast

Great job on the photoskin Tommy. Don't know how you could have done the chest hairs.

And your crease work never fails to amaze me. :o

Thanks.
the hairs on the chest and arms were done with a custom made brush;

I often make these for repeating patterns. In this case a brown at about 50% opacity.
The much praised crease work on the trousers originated in a photo found online, and some copying, cropping, smudging, pushing and general manipulation got it to work well on the mesh. I wish I could claim to have freehanded it, but i can't.

Outcast

Hey, pretty cool of you to show how you did those chest hairs. Thanks, learned something new today. Just shows how little i know about paint programs.

In my opinion that still sounds like a lot of hard work, so give yourself some credit Tommy. :)

Cyber Burn

Give yourself lots of credit here, Tom. The Comedian is easily your best skin yet. I can't wait to check this in CTool. Thanks TOm.

Here's the latest W.I.P. Silk_spectre_tf:

Having an awfully difficult time with the fershlugginer see through bits. First I cant use physiqued parts because they dont alpha correctly in FF (even though it'd be OK in FFv3R *glares at all those who prefer FF*). Next theres the stupid way the stupid alphas make the body beneath disappear at certain angles, which I cannot cure yet (and believe me, I've been trying).
So, we are left with a mesh that looks nice at the selective angle I chose for the preview, but has invisible woman syndrome at most other angles and in most other poses.
Anyone know a cure?
Do we even care?
Should I just release as-is?

Gremlin

I'd say just make it for FFvTTR, but then people will yell at me. Haha. Looks really cool, though. The detail on the hair is fantastic.

"Awesome" does not adequately describe it.

Could always make two of them...

Sledgehammer

Keep it up, Tommy. Those Watchmen are just amazing.
