Hey AA, those are some amazing skins!  While the character concepts themselves are not really my cup of tea, you've created some beautifully realized designs.  Let me also add my admiration CT.  I love the eclectic look of that skope/skin, like some of the neater designs in your Heralds mod.

Ah thanks. The FOUR aren't suppose to be likable - I mean they have their charm but they are suppose to be examples of comic "realism". When I was thinking up the new concepts for this mod it was what would traditional superheroes do in a world of heroes and villains created by Grant Morrison and Warren Ellis.

At one time I heard some  surgeons performed the first cut with a disposable plastic sclapel. So I decided that The Glob (and, by extension, Boogeyman) could form plastic knives with his hands-blades with cell-thin edges that had a constantly renewing edge...

Hm, I suppose Mr. Fantastic and characters like him can be pretty deadly. I actually gave Figure Fan a power that did piercing damage in the game similar to what you describe, Glob. I didn't know your avatar was malleable and what have you. Cool!

I've been sitting on a lot of unpreviewed skins. The thing is the majority of them were done months ago but I was holding them off as specials with the mod. Anywho, here is stuffage.

This is a reskope of Style's awesome Mystique skope. I wanted her to have her traditional bob.

You may notice that his "metal parts" are blue rather than grey or silver, well based on the old Jim Lee design and various action figures (which is what usually inspire me), I decide I would go for the blue gunmetal hue.

This is Ant-Boy or whatever I am calling him. He is mySpider-man analog for the HF (now renamed Fractal Universe) mod. Basically when I was like 13 I use to draw this Ant-boy character. Unfortunately I had no idea what he looked like anymore so I just thought about what a 13 year old wear if he was inspired by Spider-man.

Left to Right: Anarchist, Mimic, U-Go Girl, Magneto, Amalgam, Iceman (usng Rev's Iceman skope as the base), Black Phoenix, and White Phoenix. For Mimic I ended up using Ink's Archangel New X - I'm not 100% sure the mesh is ok to skope but I've seen a few released skopes using that mesh as its base.

Reskins on my Supergirl Returns and Bizarro Returns skins. I was going to do Powergirl too but blah I've lost almost all interest in DC save Batman and Robin.

Update on the Heralds of Destiny mod is it is being simplified. I haven't send the details over to Bent just yet but it will be more of an update pak of skins, skopes, and fxs with an ezscript level.

I love what you did here with the characters, as well as your choice of characters. I really like that you added some X-Statix characters. Did you have any plans to tackle some other of their members (I'd love to see your updated take on Dead Girl).

*gloats* I always KNEW you liked Iceman. You were just trying to hide it because Darkstar was confused about her feelings and died.

AA, I love your skins. They all seem to have a unique style about them, and your color work is fantastic. I'm glad we finally have a new skin to represent White Crown Phoenix, considering Matrix's version is a few years old now. My one critique, however, is also for that skin and it relates to the golden parts. I think the reflection (you used that, right?) could be toned down a little in some areas (gloves). Can't wait to get Mimic into game. I actually miss the Dark X-men now. blah.

AA, i really like your originals that deal with characters that use various gadgets. reminds me of an old X-men villian that employed different alien/sentinal Techs. he would be a cool character to make. dont remember his name though. maybe you could make a team of characters that employ different weapons/Techs.

So I had all intention of releasing on Sunday afternoon but my computer has been blue screen of deathing me. Thankfully I backed up most of my work but I need to rezip and reskin a couple of newer skins (female AfghanAnt, Ironlad and Gambit/Death).

As for the Heralds mods, I still have all intentions of releasing it but I don't even have a version of it now. If I can get it off of my old computer I will try but if not hopefully Bent has the early version and I can just go in and remake some of the changes I made to it.

AA, man you've been busy!  Look at all that awesome stuff!  You've got some great work here, but those new Hearald's skins are pretty neat.  However, they sorta' pale in comparission to that Gambit skin.  I've got a new favorite version of 'ol Gumbo.  Your design for Antboy is also pretty neat.  I really like the ant pattern on his costume.  It's a neat, weird touch.

That's terrible news about your computer troubles!  I'm glad to hear you've got most things backed up, though.  I've definitely still got the copy of Heralds that I sent you, and I have even gotten a little (very little) more done on it.  I'm working on setting up the multiple versions of Destiny now, so I'll send you a new version soonish.  Send me a PM and we'll talk about what else you've got in mind.

Thanks all. It seems I definitely lost ConT and Ant-boy, as well as, the Herald mod in the what turned out to be an AVS caused crash but I do have just about every skin I previewed. I'm pretty bummed.
