Woe, woe, and thrice woe.
I downloaded the demo for PC, installed, and it just crashes with a "ShippingPC-BmGame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" message. I'm a bit loathe to re-download the 2+gig demo again. I've tried enabling/disabling everything likely in the setup screen, got the latest nvidia drivers. I hope this doesnt mean I cannot play the actual game

Still patiently awaiting the non-Gold Live release so I can check out where my hard earned Gamestop GC is going.  Yep, I'm an unmentionable too...refuse to pay for something the rival company provides free of charge.  Still can't remember why I bought the 360.  Looks good.  Hopefully that "Detective Mode" will even out the difficulty as the game progresses (you know give Batman an edge against overwhelming odds).  It sounds like everything else is so well designed.

To the modder in there: i can't find the texture to export! i got about three instance of the glove, cowl and body armor. i tried changing them all but i still don't have any in-game change!

could someone rip all the "useful" texture and make a rar with those texture + the texmod file to import? (i' trying to make him a robin-colored costume, but since i don't semm to be recoloring the good texture...)

I hope they will have some sort of alternate costumes for the 360. I loved looking at all of the modded costumes, but alas, my computers a clunker!

There's always Amazon.com.  $52.99, plus a coupon code 5OFFARKM for an additional $5 off the pre-order, and if you cash in an ECA 10% off code, you can get it down to about $43 before s/h.  Not too shabby.  I'm going that route since I splurged and cashed in my GS $50 GC on GH5 and GH:VH (and me being a dyed in the wool RB fanboy).

Metacritic has Batman: AA at a 91% average right now (gathered from 15 reviews, ranging from 80% - 96%).  After playing the demo I was a bit disappointed, but these reviews plus the Walmart price here may persuade me to buy it.

True, but a new console is still cheaper than maintaining a computer up to date for gaming.  I mean, you can buy video cards alone that cost more than a 360 or a PS3.
