I think I'm pretty much in the same boat you are Hoss. The Characters that I grew up with just aren't the same now. It makes me want to pull out some of my old books just to remind myself of why I've spent most of my life as a Comic Fan.

CB, THAT is why I mod.  It's also why I collect old comics, but mostly, this is why I tell my own stories.  There isn't much for me in modern day DC or Marvel.  Instead, I try to create a worlds that are more heroic and welcoming.

As for Kang Minions, there were quite a good number of them in the Great Hunt mod of old, where Kang the Cantankerous was the main baddie. I'll have to dig that mod out and send you the minions.

I switch back and forth, it's pretty much mood depending, they're both really great, but proportion wise, I do agree, the "Male_Hulking_Juggernaut" is probably more accurate.

For Gren's first "Silver Surfer" Mesh, TUE has a Skin at HeroForce, and LP has one at Force Of Paradox. I'm not sure of any for Gren's updated Surfer though.

I typically end up using MHV_Juggernaut.  I don't know why, but I just like the look of him a bit more.  Perhaps it's his posture?  He's taller and still has a good amount of width to him, so he isn't a tall yet lanky Juggernaut (which I think would be pretty funny )

I actually prefer Abdul Brown's Juggernaut.  It's a really unique mesh and has custom animations (although they are limited).  After resizing it and doing some keyframe skoping i feel it's the best Juggy out there, just for it's uniqueness.
I really love the MHV Juggernaut, too. It puts him just a bit bigger than Colossus and there are more keyframe options than the male_hulking_juggernaut.

Gren's Silver Surfer has been skinned by MANY people: C6, LP, UE, ZD, maybe more? Personally I like LP's latest skin of him.

Other than my Kang, I believe only Tommyboy and C6 have skinned him.

I just downloaded the BlackCat_LP, converted it, and am not having the "shiny" issue that you are. If using .dds files doesn't do the trick (which in this case, I'm not sure if it will), let me know as I think I might see the problem. The skope has 8 unassigned NiTextureEffect nodes attached to the Scene Root that contain lightmap files that are not used by the skope and are not included in the skin folder. Removing these nodes from the skope may cease the "confusion" the skope is having determining which lightmap file to use. I would have tested this, but I'm not having the "shiny" mesh problem that you are. Also, being that I don't think this issue has cropped up for anyone before, it might be a graphics card problem on your end (just for this skin/skope, that is).
