Mole-Man18

#61
Dr. Milton Fine

Brainiac

Bio:

Dr Milton Fine was a researcher working for Lexcorp, specializing in the area of nanotechnology, and brain stimulants. His main goal was enhancing the potential of human brain, but soon he was fired, because of his unethical methods. Enraged Fine tested his technology on himself, and was changed into blue-skinned incredibly intelligent being with psionic powers. Using his enhanced intelligence he quickly gathered fortune, to fund his research, and established himself as one of most influential businessman on planet, second only to Lex Luthor himself. But only few know, that a superhuman called Brainiac is also a most profitable weapons dealer of the underworld, closely connected to Batman's League of Assasins. While his only interest is his research on "fixing" the weaknesses of human race, his criminal connections made him target of many superheroes, but protection provided by Batman always kept him out of jail.

Experiment was sucessful, and boy later named Lionel Luthor was created. He was gifted with superhuman strength, and endurance, as well as super-speed, and flying, and low level telekinesis. Due to his accelerated growth he was "born" as an equivalent of teenager, and quickly become celebrity. Some time later his "father" experimented on himself, becoming superhero called Ultraman, Lionel quickly followed his steps, and christened himself "Ultraboy". Presently he is helping Lex with protecting Metropolis... when his not occupied with interviews, and picking up girls in nightclubs.

Hey Green Hornet, I really like the way that Wildcat turned out. Do you have a link that I could use to download that program? Can you post it somewhere or e-mail it to me? Thanks.

Green Hornet

You can download it to your computer and install it. The zip file is here: http://rs383.rapidshare.com/files/133970420/fabrica.rar   :rickbm

Deaths Jester

Hey Murs, ye still looking for stuff for characters or not?  If so, PM me and I'll slam a few things together for ye...maybe...if I can get Prev off my arse about the Evengers I'm working on.
Avatar picture originally a Brom painting entitled Marionette.

Mole-Man18

Since Green Hornet uploaded his new creations (Very cool by the way...) i've decided to follow the example and share my other creation with the world. So, here he is:

dr. William Freeman/Shazam.

Bio:

Dr. William Freeman was a biologist, and geneticist from Fawcett City working on a way to rid the problem of world hunger. To achieve this he worked on a chemical stimulant, that theoretically should speed up plants growth, but without much success. Then one day he accidentally found out, that his stimulant works perfectly after electrocution. Unfortunately he couldn't share his discovery to the world, because during an attack of eco-terrorist group on his lab, he was thrown into vat of chemicals. Laboratory is blown up, and Freeman barely survives, severely wounded. Shocked, he accidentally touches electrical cable, and is electrocuted. Surprisingly electricity didn't killed him, but instead healed him, and made him stronger. Later he discovered, that his body was soaked with stimulant, and becomes temporally enhanced in contact with electricity. In his empowered state he becomes 8.2 feet tall, gets super strength, and durability, and heals almost instantly. He can also expel electricity from his body, but doing so he becomes weaker. He also retains his genius-level intelligence, but his looks made many of his opponents take him for brainless thug, with fact he often uses for his advantage. Freeman creates a special costume designed to store electricity, and becomes superhero called Shazam. He mainly fights low-level crime, and stays in his home city for most of time, but helps other heroes in times of need.

I know, I know, crummy back story, but well, I'm just a nerd with a lot of free time, so...

Oh, and please forgive me for bad grammar, I really have problems with that.

Yes and yes. But, you'll have to wait for the re-skin. ;)

growlermike

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar!

Mole-Man18

Because Murs created such great looking Aquaman, I decided to design archenemy for him. So without further ado:

Ivan Gort/Ocean Master

Bio:

After the success of British "Project: Aquaman" Soviet government decided, that they need their own aquatic bio-weapon, to counter Sgt. Curry's powers. Thus an Specnaz operative Ivan Gort was chosen to participate in Russia's own supersoldier project "Leviatan". Using stolen S.T.A.R Labs top-secret data, combined with the experiences of their earlier projects soviet scientists fused Gort's DNA with the several sea animals, but results wasn't as good, as achieved by their British counterparts. While sergeant Curry body was still humanoid, in Gort case mutation changed him into repulsive disfigured monster. Still, he gained superhuman strength, and durability, as well, as the ability to survive underwater. Believing that if he killed Aquaman, he would be changed into human again, he began their years-long fight, using the codename "Leviathan". After the fall of the Soviet Union he finally found out, that it is impossible to change him back, so he disappeared into the sea for the decade. He reappeared recently, as an eco-terrorist calling himself Ocean Master, and using his black-ops experiences to destroy the ships, and equipment belonging to oil companies. This activities leaded to numerous clashes with his old enemy Aquaman.

I borrowed his civilian name from the old Firestorm enemy Stalnoivolk.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalnoivolk

Again sorry for the grammar, and corny back story.

Mole-Man18

And here's another Russian metahuman I've created, while thinking about Ocean Master's design.

Leonid Kovar/Red Star (1941-1956)

Leonid Kovar/Parasite (1972-1986/1997-2010)

Bio:

In 1932 Russian Secret Police NKVD found old research facility in Siberia created in 1909, by their Tsarist counterpart Okhrana after so called "Tunguska Event". They found out, that the object that crashed there wasn't the meteorite, but some kind of spaceship. By the special decree of the Stalin new research lab was created, dedicated to finding secret of the ship. Using the blood of dead aliens scientists created the serum, that supposedly would give any human extraordinary strength, and durability. Major Leonid Kovar was one of the first volunteers, who was given the serum, and the only one, who survived. He exhibited superhuman strength, resistance, and accelerated healing factor. Others died, or became horribly disfigured. Kovar was chosen to become the living symbol of the USRR , and was given costume, and codename "Red Star". He was sent to the front lines in 1941, and quickly become a hero, and the bane of the Nazis. In the meantime he was given additional injections of the serum, and his powers has grown significantly. But, as a curious side effect his skin started to change color into purple. Scientist stopped the injections, fearing of the other side effect, but Stalin ordered them to continue. Kovar was given a new costume, that covered his whole body, and was again sent to fight. In 1944 after repeated injections Major Kovar lost all his body hair, but exhibited new power: absorption of energy, and redirecting it, as powerful blast. Later he also discovered, that he can absorb lifeforce of other humans to temporally boost his powers. In the 50's his body started to mutate further, and his reliance on energy deepened. Soon, he had to absorb lifeforce regularly, to stay alive. In 1956 it was decided, that he would publicly retire as the Red Star, and his body was frozen for further examination. In 1970 samples of his blood was taken to create another mutate, later known as the Ocean Master. He had awaken then, killed several scientists, and escaped. In 1972 he resurfaced, changed beyond recognition, calling himself Parasite. His body was now more alien, than human, and needed large amounts of energy to survive. Also insane creature, that major Kovar became still perceived himself as a hero of the USRR , and started to fight his country enemies. Russian government feared him, and finaly captured him again in 1986. In 1997 he escaped again, and to this day remains free, occasionally working as a professional assassin.

Bad grammar, and story again, so sorry...

murs47

These are cool Mole-Man. I really like that Red Star circa 1941 look.

Mole-Man18

Thank You, for your kind words Murs, it's really nice to know, that someone likes my designs, besides me...
An if we talk about designs... Here's last character (For now at least) from my "Soviet Superhumans" series:

Piotr Roslov/Yellow Lantern (1975-1981)

Bio:

After the fiasco of "Project Leviathan", and "Codename: Red Star" USRR government decided to stop the experiments on artificially creating superhumans, opting to work on creating new weapons, based on the captured spaceship technology. After research on the ship engine module scientists found out, that it recharges itself by absorbing energy from the nearby sources of light. After several experiments they found out, that structures christened "energy discs" can store incredible amount of power, comparable to fully sized nuclear reactor, yet they discharge after 24 hours of use. This flaw made impossible to use them as a cheap source of energy, so it was decided to use it as a weapon. In 1975 special energy containment suit powered by alien energy disc was created. Air force pilot, major Piotr Roslov was chosen as it's wearer, and given codename "Yellow Lantern". Suit granted him power of flight, forcefield covering his body, and ability to project powerful energy blasts. He was active till 1981, when it was discovered, that longtime exposure to the suit's power has given him terminal cancer. He escaped to the USA, and turned himself to the authorities, using the suit as a bargaining chip. He was given new identity, and citizenship, as well as big sum of money, as a payment for Yellow Lantern Suit. He died in 1986, due to his cancer, but US government still has the suit, and works on perfecting the technology.

Mole-Man18

And now something directly inspired by Murs Ultimate Batman. I thought to myself: If in this universe Batman is a villain, the what about Joker? Character described below is not a direct Joker analogue (Mainly because i got other plans for him), but could fill the role of Batman archenemy.

The Creeper

Bio:

There is a saying in the criminal underworld, and law enforcement alike: "If you go against Batman, it must mean, that you are insane, or suicidal". In case of man called the Creeper it could be true... Or rather it's certainly true. Nobody knows when the strange vigilante in bizarre, bright colored clown costume appeared first, but he quickly became major obstacle in many of Batman's schemes, blowing his warehouses up, killing his men, and bribed politicians etc. Of course that made him League of Assassins target, but so far nobody could kill him. According to some rumors he was actually killed several times, but always returned some time later. Some say, that he is immortal, others state, that in reality several persons wore Creeper's costume, after death of the first one. Putting rumors about his immortality aside he hasn't exhibited any superhuman powers, relying on his acrobatic abilities, combined with martial arts, and apparent fearlessnesses, bordering on complete disregard to death. Creeper is also known to be extremely violent, and unforgiving. Only time can tell if this one man crusade, against world's most powerful criminal empire can ever succeed...

QuoteThey are cool indeed. A Soviet team is a really good idea too. I'll have to shoot you a PM if I ever decide to expand.

I'm flattered, but I don't think You need any help, cause your designs are awesome. Take your Captain Marvel for example: In comparition "Shazam" i've put here looks really lame. By the way your newest creation filled me with inspiration, so i've made this guy:

Amon Tomaz/Fate

Doctor Amon Tomaz was famous archaeologist, and Egyptologist specializing with religion, and rituals of Ancient Egypt. In 1997 he disappeared mysteriously during the dig sponsored by Waynetech, and was proclaimed dead. In 2002 he returned, but he wasn't the same man, that vanished years ago. His whole body was covered with glowing tattoos, and he exhibited superhuman abilities. Doctor Tomaz, now calling himself Fate said, that he was abducted by higher beings known as Lords of Order, and chosen to be their herald in our world. At first scientists didn't believed him, but it became apparent, that his body was highly enhanced by some unknown technology. Fate has the ability to transmute organic, and inorganic matter, create hard-light illusions, and also can heal, or enhance his own body, as well, as others. Many people called his powers "magic", but he always said this is merely highly advanced science. He also demonstrated incredible knowledge of technology, genetics, cybernetics, and physics. In recent years he created cult-like organization centered over Lords of Order, and their millenniums old war against malicious Lords of Chaos. Universal Church of Order gained large popularity, and is slowly becoming one of major worlds religions. Fate detached himself of Earth's superhumans, preferring to meditate, and negotiate, rather than fight, but he still remains one of the most powerful beings on planet.

At first this was supposed to be Black Adam, then Spectre, and finally I decided on Fate. Design is quite obviously based on Warded/Painted Man from Peter. V. Brett's "Demon Series".

Mole-Man18

Because Murs Ultimate Atom looks so cool, I've felt overwhelming need to design enemy for him. So here he is:

Albert Rothstein/Atom Smasher

Bio:

When Ray Palmer left Lockheed-Martin research he forgot some of his old plans. His long-time rival Albert Rothstein was hired to decrypt them, and then if possible, weaponize them. One of Palmer's discarded designs was a rough, and unfinished plan for armor being the previous version of his Atom suit. With the help of the other scientists Rothstein was able to finish, and improve the discarded project, creating something he named the "Nuklon Armor". In theory it was supposed to give it's wearer the same powers as Atom's suit, but Rothstein's lack of full knowledge of the technology prevented it. Armor only gives it's wearer ability to change his or hers body mass, becoming incredibly dense, or completely intangible, as well as increased strength, and durability depending on current body's mass. Later plasma cannons where mounted on the gauntlets, and jetpack was added, but Rothstein's armor was still just a toy, compared to Palmer's suit. Fueled by jealousy Rothstein experimented further, and during an experiment he was exposed to the armor's power source, and mutated, gaining power to rearrange atoms as result. At first he carelessly played with his new abilities, but soon he found out, that overusing this power radically altered his body composition, causing it to slowly disintegrate. Now he is confined to the Nuklon Armor, and can't live without it. Soon Rothstein became insane, and blames Palmer for his condition. To date he tried to kill him several times, but always failed.

Sorry for bad English, my "grammar sense" is out of order today...

Mole-Man18

And here's another of my creations, inspired by Murs INCREDIBLE NoMan redesign. It reminded me of Spectre, and I realised, that I still didin't worked on him, and that is quite strange, because DC's Wraith of God is one of my favorite characters. So, without further ado:

Spectre.

Bio:

All wars have legends, and strange rumors bordering on fantasies, and fairy tales. War in Iraq is no exeption. After the fall of Saddam Hussein's goverment many people thought, that peace will follow. But the extremists, and people of the old regime prevented it. Everyday soldiers, policemen, and civilians alike where killed in bombings, and shootings. And then, one night everything changed: Group of Iraqi Police Service members where ambushed in Baghdad, by the group of heavily armed extremists, whithout any chances of surrival. But unexpectedly assailants bursted with green flames, and burned to death. Later on, one of the policemen swore, that he saw a mysterious figure in green clothes, with the burning eyes on the nearby roof, and that this unknown man was the one, who saved them. Nobody believed him at first, but soon similiar incidents where reported. Bodies of horribly burnt terrorists where found in Baghdad, and all witnesses pointed to the unknown man in green, as a culprit. US authorities suspect, that the mysterious man is in fact unknown metahuman, with the power to generate, and manipulate flames, but locals perceive him, as an angel sent to protect them.

As always sorry about my grammar.

naitvalis

ehi wait for me ive one to!
rocket red (sorry for the roughness if like the type i'll be more accurate)

Mole-Man18

Naitvalis, this is a great design!! Makes me wish I could draw, instead using Heromachine... But, well, I guess cant have everything :( Did You created any backstory for him?

naitvalis

thank you mole man, i like yours to, my favourite is red star coz my cap attitude hehe, anyway no background story yet.

Mole-Man18

Thank you. It's kinda funny because Murs said, he likes Red Star too, and that was actualy a character I've put least effort of them all. Just needed some simple design for my Parasite backstory, and shamelessly based (Ripped of..) him on Ultimate Red Guardian, from the "Ultimate Nightmare" miniseries. Here's the link to the pic of him:
Spoiler
But putting that aside I whould love to see more of your designs. Any future plans?

Mole-Man18

#86
Another day, another design! This time my version of classic Golden Age character, and a member of All-Star Squadron:

Tex Thompson/Mr. America

Bio:

During the 1941 American goverment realised the threat posed, by Third Reich metahuman research, and started their own project. Using specialistic surgery, and hormone therapy scientists devised a way, to give an ordinary man the superhuman powers. Process was tested on several volunteers, but whitout success. While they all became slighty stronger, and healthier, none of them exibited real superhuman powers. Finally, young, entusiastic soldier named Tex Thompson was aproved into the project, and in his case results where extraordinary. He gained superhuman strength, and reflexes, as well, as steel hard skin, and healing factor. Scientist repeated the procedure on other people, but none of them gained powers similiar to Thompson. When it became apparent, that plans of making the army of super-soldiers failed, Thompson was chosen to be a living morale booster, and given bright, colorful costume, as well as codename "Mr. America". He was set to the most dangerous places, to raise the spirits of the soldiers with his incredible exploits. After the end of World War II he was sent to Korea, and Wietnam, but meanwhile he found out, that his powers weakened significantly, and started to fade. It was decided, that he was to be relieved of active duty, but before he was sent to USA, Wietcong's booby-trap exploded on his way to airport, and wounded him severely. With loosing an arm, he abandoned his role as Mr. America, and became a politician. Soon he became Republican senator, and gained huge popularity. Over the years he has lost all his superhuman powers, but still aged in much slower rate, than regular humans. Thanks to that small blessing even being over 80 years old, he was as healthy, and strong as fifty years ago. In 2002 he exibited very radical opinions on the War on Terror topic, becoming a target for extremists. During an speech in New York he was shot in the chest by a sniper, and barely surrived. But that near death experience somehow reactivated his powers again. Senator Thompson decided, that America needs the symbol of patriotism again, and became Mr. America once again. Now aided by the highly advanced cybernetic implants, as well as his regained powers, and huge military experience he started one man war on terror...

I based most of his look on the universally hated 90's over the top designs, like Rob Liefields "His muscles have muscles, and pouches, and guns, and also pouches, and don't forget about cybernetic, and pouches... and guns" style, especially Cable. Why? Because I started reading comics seriously during this time, and Im very sentimental... Still, it's as corny now, as it was then...

naitvalis

wow murs you have expected such number of ideas?

No I didn't actually. Miguel Yanke's Legion idea and yours and Mole-Man's Soviet super heroes are very appealing to me. If and when I expand, those two ideas are definitely in.

Mole-Man18

After looking for new Russian superhumans on DC Comics Database I've come across this guy: http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Subjekt-17_%28New_Earth%29

It whould be a shame to not use him, so...

Subjekt-17

Bio:

During the "Project: Red Star" another sub-project was devised, involving the use of dead bodies, instead of living volunteers. Using the surgery, and alien technology bodies of 17 soldiers where fused together, and brought back to live, thanks to the alien fuel cell, later named energy disc. But the project was only a partial succes: While newly created being had all the strenghts, and abilities of the dead soldiers used to create his body, he also had fragmented bits of their memories, and personalities, making him totally insane, and uncontrollable. This fact combined with his enormous phsysical strenght, wast psionic powers, and nearly instant tissue regeneration (Except the scars created before his "ressurection") made him a humanoid weapon of mass destruction. As such he is contained is specially created bunker deep under Moscow, waiting for the moment to be used...

Based on the title character from the tv movie "Mr. Stitch", and the Bizarro. As a side note, this originally suposed to be my Ultimate Captain Marvel...

Once again, please forgive me my grammar.
