Other than The Ghostbusters, is there another mesh with a gun connected to a backpack by a hose?

BentonGrey

I know there are some skopes that have cobbled that together.  The Goldface_tvlite skope for the DCUG did so, and maybe there's another Tommy mesh that does it.

I've kind of always wanted one for Paste-Pot Pete.  I looked at one of the Rocketeer hexes, and I think the Flash Gordon one (or whatever it was called) came closest to what I was looking for, sans connecting cable, but of course I never did anything much with it beyond my initial attempts to adjust the skin.

Panther Gunn, your inbox is full.

Cyber Burn did a scope of Paste Pot Pete using the Ghostbusters mesh as a base. I know because I did the skin.

Fixed.

Ah, but C6 did the face. For some characters, it's just hard to find a better face than that.

I have off school for the rest of the week. The GB mesh isn't hard to weight a new one to, a did this with Luigi. Shoot me a PM  what your thinking of and I'll cobble a base together.

PM'd. Noting this for future reference.

To make a gun hose:

1. TJ's GB has one and it's a static model. One can simply export both gun models, retain the hoses and import news guns.

2. To use a different model/keyframes add a hose to choice nifs guns, the hose will follow suit with the guns.

3. In many models cases the arm will probably extend to far when shooting making the hose appear to detach. The long form would be to weight a hose piece from the hand of choice to the back/spine01. Copy the key information for the gun in hand and make a string for the weighted hose as well. Then add a static holstered hose piece and copy the holstered gun information for the new holstered hose.

 This is why I insist that I am a skinner not a scoper, darn it.

Cyber Burn

Now I'm going to have to experiment with this.  :D

You could do it daglob. Randomdays and windblowns tutorials cover most of it. Sorry I didn't note it but those are just three different methods, not three steps. Either make different gun+models and import and/or modify the keyframes to include information for the hoses like would already exist for the gun if need be. That's about the gist of it.
