Costume Rating 59: West Twins

Wally West married reporter Linda Park, and together they had twins. Their kids, Jai and Iris, aged rapidly and gained powers (I believe Jai had strenght, and Irey had phasing and later super speed). While Wally was training them they wore these outfits:


During Flash rebirth Jai was depowered, and Iris became the new Impulse.

3. The base design isn't bad, but I don't know, there's something that just doesn't work for me.

3- They're kind of basic. there isn't really that much about these designs that says "these are Wally West's kids." Iris has fared a bit better with her later costumes, both during her temporary stint as an adult and later as the second Impulse (It's basically Bart's old costume, but I like the gold on the stripes going down the middle. It wouldn't really work for Bart, but it looks nice on Iris.)

Was debating between 2 and 3 but went with 3. The outfits work for what they are.
Each of them has one of the Flash's primary colors, but are kinda generic.

I went with a 3 but I actually think these are all right. What holds them back is an emblem, like so:

Add something like that in and I think these are pretty decent.

However I don't think these were designed to be memorable superhero costumes. I believe these were supposed to more like training outfits.
