I wonder if they'll ever actually make this movie they're talking about.  This isn't the first call for scripts they've done, though I suppose this is the first time they actually hired writers directly.  Still, I've got zero faith in WB's DC movies.  If they actually do manage to make an Aquaman solo movie (and it does well, a big 'if'), that could be good for the character.

I wish I could disagree, buddy, but I'm not very optimistic with WB's plans for the "DC Movieverse" (but, of course I hope they prove me wrong).
