Hey Dean!

Finished rigging the unicorn to Beyonder's horse - its not a perfect fit, especially around the neck, but still looks pretty good. Wrapping it up and sending it your way soon. I can shorten the tail up some more if you want to closer match Uni in the cartoon.

I love Venger. That's among the short list of characters that I wanted to do when I very first started skinning long ago. Honestly I don't know why it came to mind then, I like the design of it I think. Anyways fantastic job on that.

What issue are you having with shoulders btw? I was just dealing with spad issues with Sinister, I might know the workaround for it.

It was basically just the shape of his spad?s and how they fit into his body really, what I used isn?t perfect but if you don?t look too closely they are fine

deanjo2000: I'm of the same attitude with what I'm doing. Like if you look at my screencaps Sinister has very close shoulder pads that also have lines on them like that. However when it moves? The body "phases" through the shoulder pads and you see the texture under them, I assume that's what happened with yours. Of course because the clavicle and the upper arm. We don't want to weight to both of those or our shoulder pads will stretch and deform and look very odd.

So the solution is to add keyframes to every animation for each shoulder pad that accounts for their movements. I am doing it with my Ninja Turtles belt buckle for example because I don't want it falling inside the shell. However that is a devoted project but I am otherwise a bit lazy and frankly? Well who wants to add animations for the shoulder pads, right? It's a boring thing to do. So here is the cheap way to solve it that I'm using with Sinister. See this rather ugly map? Where I put the red take the texturing you made for the shoulder pads themselves and superimpose it on the male basic texture right in that area. That's the part of the body that will be underneath the shoulder pads. So it creates the optical illusion that nothing is going wrong there.



Just a trick for you for future reference is all. I know the upperarm/clavicle area on these nifs is just a big pain to work with.
