Hi folks,

I've been using the Tau Firewarrior mesh and Cyberman skin which is great as a variation but am really hoping to use something matching the handlebar head design. I'd be very happy to skin myself and work on it straight away. I've been able to use nifskope to hide and transfer some pieces but this is a bit beyond me at this stage.

Thanks in advance

Craig

I want to say that Daglob was doing some sort of Cyberman skope, but I could be wrong.

I've never been able to scope the chest piece on and get it to work. Otherwise, I've got a Tom Baker-era Cyberman complete with handlebars (courtesey Bearded), joint knobs, and cables.

If anyone believes they can do a better job, I will be immensly happy to send it to you, just give me an e-mail address. I want this sucker too.

Well I don't know if I'm able to do a better job with this one, but to me I think it's good enough for me the way it is and also I can pretend that the control panel where it belongs to the chest area is inside the Cyberman ^_^. I wouldn't mind having one for myself, but if it's okay with you could you send it to me my way plus I'll leave you my email address so I don't forget about the rule of not providing my email address to anyone. My email address is bigd33309@yahoo.com, and I hope you send it to me whenever you have the chance. Thank you for your time and patience, and I hope something new comes our way.

P.S. One more thing, I really dig that Cyberman and also it so cool plus it is definitely from the Tom Baker years of Doctor Who .

Cyber Burn

What kind of trouble are you having with this one Daglob?

martialstorm

I think it looks great Daglob.

For something from the current series I was looking at something like an iron man mesh or microwave mesh with the head handlebars added.

Cyber Burn

Personally, I have had ZERO luck when trying to skope the Microwave mesh, but if I remember correctly, there is a Male_Basic_Microwave mesh by Bobby69 floating around somewhere that might work for you.

billdamn22

I believe I have that mesh somewhere..... Let me know if you need it and I will search through my discs.

BigD

Hey Bill, I was wondering what mesh you're talking about and if it's the one they're talking about related to the Cyberman maybe you could tell us what it is and maybe I could ask for it kindly ^_^. Whatever the mesh is that you're talking about, please let me and the others know and maybe we could ask for it without being hasty ^_^. Anyway's, whatever the mesh is, I just wanna know for sure . Thanks and stay cool :)!

The male_basic_microwave mesh....

BigD

 Oh ! Okay, I didn't even know for sure, but now I know . My bad ! Anyways, I might consider that certain mesh known as the male_basic_microwave and once again my fault. Thanks for answering my question.

My problem is that the two pieces I was trying to make the chestpiece out of move separately. Both are from a TV mesh (mouth disk and square quiver), and I did remove the niskinisntance.

And, my mistake, this is more like a Pertwee-era Cyberman. I have thought about doing all of them, especially the one who has his cybergun his crotch.

I would also wish that he had more "cyberman"-like keyframes.

Hmm... I think I can give him a better reflection file too.

It may just be an issue of where you pasted the pieces that are causing them to move seperately. Are they moving seperately from each other, or seperately from the mesh?

spydermann93

Sounds like to me that the two pieces move separately.

Symon

Nicely done. The differences between a Late Pertwee Cyberman and a Baker Cyberman weren't that great.

I'll have a look at it if you like. Let me know and I'll drop you an email address.

I looked back at the scope, and the problem is that the circular piece on the chest and the square piece move separately from each other. I think I have them both stuck on spine2, but I may need to check that out. Another problem is that the cybergun on his head is mapped to the same place as the control box on his chest, so the black window I put on it show up in the gun too. I looked at the quiver from Male Archer, but the quiver and arrows are all one piece on that one. What I wanted was to re-map to another .tga, but I've never had much success with that. I had hoped to then turn the chest piece sideways and make the raised section on the chestplate. Also, when he leans over, the box has a tendency to try and dissapear into his body. There is a ball in the cybergun whhich needs to be lined up a little, but I stopped working on it when other problems arose.

I once heard that you can stick pieces onto the mesh instead of the bones, but is this true? I've never had success at dong that, either.

Anyone who wants to try and fix this thing, PM me an address and I'll send it to you. I will take all the help I can get. Both Bearded and Kenn X have worked on it so far.

I already have a version of the skin with black headthingies for the Cyber Leader...

Cyber Burn

I can at least take a look at the mapping issue for you, but I can't commit until the beginning of July due to personal issues. Plus, I still need to re-skope those Morbanes for you because if I don't get it done by Wednesday, it will have to wait till July too, and I really don't want for that to happen.

I just got the Cyberman mesh in my Yahoo Mail and I just downloaded it :D, and I really like it with all my heart since the time I got started to enjoy watching the classic version DOCTOR WHO up to the new version DOCTOR WHO . I hope everyone knows about this , and if they ever want to own a copy of the Cyberman mesh for themselves they know where to find it now at the only website which is the home of the :ff: FREEDOM FORCE :ff: Gods known as FREEDOM REBORN. Until we meet again, live long and play on :ff: and also live long and enjoy DOCTOR WHO both classic and new ;).

If you want to send the mesh my way, I would be glad to take a look at it when I get back from vacation.
