It's 4:30 where I am and I don't feel like linking, but I trust someone can back me up.

Apparently, Lucy Lawless will be joining the cast as well as Mocking Bird...  Not saying the two are related.

Mockingbird was name dropped at a SHIELD panel held last night, but she is definitely not being played by Lawless. Lawless will instead be playing Agent "Isabelle Hartley"

I read that mockingbird is being played by an actress from "The Middle" (a show I've never seen)

Not sure how accurate this report is.

Ok, so I didn't realize she was in G.I. Joe... But she was great in Red Dawn!

I am looking forward to catching up and seeing next season.
I am not, nor have I ever been a Rude Naked Hero!

Since Mockingbird is on the show, what are the chances of Hawkeye making an appearance?

I would say slim to none.

Well... She IS Mockingbird.  Which would make her 3rd such character from a comic book.

What's the other comic book character she played before? Wonder Woman, Mocking Bird, ???

And as far as Hawkeye showing up in a cameo.. Samuel L. Jackson showed up in the show 2 times as Nick Fury, plus now that the show has established itself.. we might get a few more cameos this season since more villains will be surfacing.

Also Jamie Alexander, Sif from the Thor movies had a pretty good cameo. Sure, she's not Sam Jackson level, but the possibility of more film stars to make cameos is always getting better. Maybe Falcon could make an appearance?

Plus they could always film a scene or two while filming one of the movies.  This show has itself become a major part of promoting the films, so I expect on that basis alone they can get as many guest stars from the films as they want.  Besides that particular actor is not an A class star, so I doubt getting him to show up in a TV show would be all that difficult.

But he is a multiple time Oscar nominee and part of 3 major franchises.  I'll be surprised (pleasantly) if any of the Avengers shows up on Agents of Shield.

Is he?  I've never heard of or seen him outside of Marvel and have no idea what his name even is.  Anyhow, if they can get Samuel L. Jackson, they can get him.  Not to mention they can, as I said, throw it into a movie's production or include it as part of the promotional stuff they have to do as part of the film anyway.  It's doable.  I'm not saying it will be done, only that it can be.

Jeremy Renner, star of the Bourne series after Matt Damon, and also stars in the Mission Impossible series along side Tom Cruise, among other things. He has done some TV work, but he's in pretty high demand so it won't be easy for SHIELD to get him. It's certainly possible though.

I've read that Mockingbird is currently only scheduled for one episode.

Honestly, it's more about how down the actor is.  Sam Jackson has grossed more than any other actor in the Avengers combined or has been a part of such films.  But he's the kind of cat that would do a small screen cameo because he wants to.  Jeremy Renner and Scar Jo, I can see them big timming ABC/Disney though.

Oh by the way... That universe Sam L. Jackson talked about in Iron Man just keeps getting bigger...

A picture of Carter on Agents of SHIELD has surfaced.  Apparently, she'll be doing flashbacks which will probably lead into her own show when that comes around.

More importantly, Dum Dum!
