Is anybody interested in this new action RPG?

I downloaded the demo yesterday for my PS3 and played like 10 minutes before I had to leave for work this morning. I'm kind of intrigued by it. The action element seems quite nice making a much more fast paced combat than in other RPGs.

The game is coming out next week and I'm actually considering on buying it. Any thoughts?

I played the demo as well and was not impressed with it. It didn't do anything for me at least.

I have to say I am not huge fan of the traditional RPG games. I tend to lean more towards actiom/adventure games. Maybe that is why this game caught my eye. It seems to me it has some nice RPG elements with a good combat system. I dunno

Talavar

I thought the demo was fun, liked the combat and I'm intrigued by the levelling system.  If anyone does get the full version, post your thoughts!

Mr. Hamrick

The demo is at least worth playing for all the Mass Effect 3 goodies that you get from the demo.  In addition, you get items for the full version of the game unlocked in the demo.  I've read a few articles suggesting 200+ hours worth of game play and only 30-40 of that is the main quest.

Having played the demo, I'm of mixed feelings.  I liked the combat.  I actually liked using the magic staff as a weapon and those usually suck in RPGs so that says something to me.  Like Talavar said, the leveling system is intriguing.  I am not sure how much I like it.   Some of the "Dragon Age hand-me-down" stuff kinda got on my nerves.  I am assuming based on the demo that you do not get a party or companions.  Does anyone know for sure on this?  I'd kinda like it more if I had a party to recruit.

I may get the game but will definitely wait till later in the year to get it.  It is not a priority for me, at the moment.

This game is beast mode! Love it! I'm 20 hours in and I'm still only in the first area!

Nice to have some feedback from someone playing the full game. I'm waiting for it to lower it's price a bit, I'm a bit short on cahs lately and hte games is around 70€

I tried the demo (for the ME3 goodies) and it was okay, I liked it a lot at first but then it started to feel repetitive.

How long was the demo? And what are your options in it in terms of weapons/skills/abilities?

JeyNyce

After the basic training area, the game gives you 45min of game play (that's not including interacting with NPC) so you'll get a good feeling about the game play.  I have it but between SWTOR and getting back into DCUO I won't have time to give it my full attention.

Like JeyNyce said you get the first area in the caves and then 45 mins after you meet that fortune teller guy.
Weapons included sword, daggers, fire staff, and bow and arrow. And I got a electric bolt magic attack.

Not a bad game. Combat is its strong point. Everything else is same ol rpg fetch quest stuff (so far at least).
