honestly its short and doesn't tell a whole lost of the story, but i can truely say that the trailer did not impress me.

there was very little aside form the football field to jump out, banes voice is terrible but thats to be expected with that mask but it just sounds garbled and over done. i only knew what he said because i seen a gif with subtitles

i do think hathaway will pull of selina but i don't get the motivation from the speech it really doesn't seem like catwoman at all but we've havent heard enough to make a full statement(insert usual fan argument about heaths joker)

from what i've seen so far out fo the 2 big summer hero flicks i'm looking more forward to the avengers and i'm really more DC than marvel

Ehh.

I completely agree with you about Avengers vs. Batman, TUE, and everyone knows my love of DC.

It could be better.  It looks like it more story base than action this time around.

I'm firmly in the "meh" camp.  Maybe something will come out later on that piques my interest for this film.   Right now, not feeling it.

Or it could just be a bad trailer.  Trailers are quite often better or worse than the actual movie.  The movie itself may just not lend itself to an exciting trailer.

Pfft, this trailer's better

But no, seriously, I agree with cat on this... it's still a bit early to be saying much of anything based on trailer footage. I'm much more comfortable making my judgements based on what we've already seen from Nolan and the TDK crew, which has been good work overall.

I'm not sure what's going on with this movie at this point. It doesn't look bad, though. There also seem to be a lot of parallels with current real life events..hmm. I guess we'll see if that's true when more of the plot is explained.

Well, it doesn't seem like it's going to have the charm of Batman Begins or the epic drama of The Dark Knight, but it looks like it might be decent.

As of now, The Avengers clearly looks like the big thrill ride of the summer.

Looks rather boring to me. Really looking forward to the Avengers though.

Latest trailer makes me actively want to avoid it. I have to admit after the Dark Knight, I'm not really willing to give the benefit of the doubt though. Tons of good fantasy and superhero stuff coming up that will satisfy me plenty so its no big deal.

Wow... I thought I was gonna be the one guy saying "this trailer does not look nearly as good as the last movie" but aparently it is pretty much unanymous.

I'm guessing I'll enjoy the movie, but so far it does not look like a must... especially Bane. That said I HATED the look of the joker but stuck by because I knew Heath was a great actor, and I know Tom Hardy is a great actor, so we will see.

My reaction to everything I've heard about this movie can be summed up in one word: "Meh"

Don't get me wrong, I loved Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and I expect this last movie will hit many of the same highlights for me. The Nolan Batman movies have been fantastic cinematic works, and from a purely film-based perspective, they're great films. However over the last few years, with the Avengers movies giving us darn near perfect adaptations of the comics, it's only served to underline the flaws in these films. The fact of the matter is, the world Nolan has created barely allows for a Batman to exist, let alone the JLA, Robin, and over half his rogues gallery. I mean for crying out loud, we're only 3 films in and the concept is already tearing at the seams.

So yeah, I'll be happy to see this series get the ending it deserves, but I'm also ready for the eventual reboot.

Outcast

After seeing the Avengers movie, with all the big name heroes/characters it had, Batman:the dark knight rises movie looks pretty weak for me at the moment. I think i'm more excited to see the Spider-man reboot. Still, i'm curious to see how the story/action will go in this movie.

captmorgan72

I'm not really too excited about The Dark Knight Rises to be honest. Maybe because it's in the shadow of the Avengers, I don't know.

Actually the "crime" scenes look amazing, Nolan can film one heck of a heist.

The actual Batman/Bane/Catwoman bits look a lot less thrilling.
