It will be a stinker like most games based on movies.

Except when the game is actually better than the movie, see Wolverine. The game got a lot of parroted hate on the internet but the people who actually played it encountered something on par with Arkham Asylum, deserving of a score only a few decimals lower.

CG movie game trailers. I hate those...they show me nothing of the actual gameplay.

The demo for Wolverine was great. The short campaign time is the only reason I haven't got it yet. 60$ for 4-6 hours of gameplay...nothing kills my interest in a new game faster than that. I did try to pick it up the other day when it was 20$...but someone got the last copy before me. :(

I picked up Dark Void for 10$ instead. So far so good.

Clothes make the man and colourful tights make the Super-Hero.

Xmen Destany is worse methinks... I still don't know exactly what type of game it is, and it was announced 5 months ago or whatever. At least with this we can be fairly certain what type of game it'll be.

I stand corrected. You are right about Wolverine. The game was better than the movie. It was short but damn was it sweet.
