Dead Space

So I've never played Dead Space before but there was a Steam weekend deal for both games.
I've never known much about the franchise but I watched the trailer fir the first game and it reminded me of Alien, or the new movie Sunshine.
And then... The soundtrack to the trailer was Sigur Ros. I was sold

Well I've been playing the first game and it reminds me a lot of Batman:AA. It's got some really good gameplay, but also quite a few jump scares.
In all, I'm happy with my purchase

Anyone else play this game?

Oh yeah, and I'll get an exclusive armor set fir DA2 now after buying Dead Space 2, cool.

My brother is playing through the first, and he seems to like it. Kinda hoping he picks up the second up sometime so I can get the DA2 armor

Sigur Rós?  Now there's a name I never thought I'd read on these boards.  How well are they known outside Europe and the U.K.?

I'd say they are pretty popular worldwide. One of my favorites. Even Jonsi (the lead singer) had a sold out solo show here in Seoul.
