Ultimate Evil -There's nothing wrong with that assessment. It certainly doesn't make you the bad guy. I think most of us are open to constructive criticism from other skinners.

Personally, I think highlights are a double-edged sword; mostly, they are great and they add depth to the skin, but they can be way overdone too. For example, sometimes I see a skin that has a highlight or two in impossible places. That kind of thing gives me a facial tick.  In my opinion, I wouldn't change Bloodshadow's Windblown skin, because (to me) it just looks like it's made of a less reflective material than the design features on the chest and arms. I think the contrast looks kind of cool. It would look cool with seams up the sides of the solid blue part, though. The new Cyber Burn avatar, however, I might have used a muscular base for the white parts of the costume and beveled the edges of the red parts.

All in all, Bloodshadow, that Windblown skin is absolutely my favorite original design ever: It's clean, it's elegant, it's not overdone...and I hope you release it so i can play with it!

I'm four days late, but I can assure you I really love this skin!! The design is awesome, I love the W shape on the chest and the mask. The skin is really great. Thanks for this surprise

but and i guess i'm gonna be the bad guy they dont seem to have any pop factor. the colours of some like CB's red or the whites on windblown seem kinda flat, and its a very easy fix they just need a little bit of highlights. it would offset the dark tones and give it a bit of more punch

I'm having some problems with my last two Death Squad members and my next avatar is taking a little longer than I expected so until one of those is ready I give you a redesign of an old original of mine called Flashfire.

I'm not real happy with the hair so I might do a redo if I can find a mesh with that type of hair

I think it looks good as is in regards to the hair, and the mask is really well done. But if you really want hair on the mesh, if you happen to find hair that you would want on it, let me know, I could try to skope it on for you.

Beyonder's "Male Hair Bangs" looks a lot like that. It uses male Basic kf. It has also been converted to FFv3R if that's what you need (for those of you who don't know, early attempts to convert Beyonder's "hair" meshes did not work).

Bloodshadow - I have a vxFlash_West with hair skoped onto it (thank you again Cyber Burn!). All you'd have to do it hex off the ear thingies. Would you like a copy?

Flashfire has a cool design but I definitely think you should skope on some hair. Either Beyonder's male hair bangs, Ink's Kyle Rayner or Zeigel should do the trick.

You can find those *fixed* Beyonder "Hair" meshes here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/laughingparadox

Just look under Files, then the Beyonder's Meshes folder, near the top of the list.

ok,here is a couple that I've been working on,the first is another old Champions character of mine called the "USAvenger"

I'm not completely happy with the eyes,might change that but I'm happy with the rest of him.
Next up is one of my favorite originals and now updated to a look I really like,I give you "Chill"

I have a frozen version as well and I'm using Laughing Paradox New Mutants Magma skope (very cool skope )
Last is another addition to my Legion Of Supervillains(yes I'm still working on them )and so....Esper Lass

Got some sketchin to do now and come up with a Volt Age Avatar design,once I get it figured out I'll start skinning it and post it

hey guys,I'm back up and running again two computers later.The first was my fault and the second was the computer but now I'm on a new system,a lot more organized and backing up way more often so I don't lose stuff again.
I've got a lot to preview over the next few days so I'm just going to go a little at a time but most of it is DC characters and the rest is a few new originals.
First up,just to get him out of the way because he's the only hero among all these skins and because I'm very happy with how he turned out.He is on Afghan Ant's Beast Boy skope in the outfit from Judd Winick's "Old Friends" storyline in Titans,and so Beast Boy

Next up is the beginning of another big project I'm working on(I love Red Lanterns)done on Sick Alice's skopes using his extras just touched up by me(with permission)
and so Pt.1 of the Red Lantern Corps

I will be back later with a preview of where I'm at with the Legion Of Supervillains which I'm anxious to do because Sun Emperor turned out awesome!

These are great. The only thing I would change is where the red and white meet - add a highlight or slight shadow to make the line work pop. I can't wait to see the rest Blood.
