The Hitman

Just finished watching the 'Pilot' episode. A little hokey at times, a tad melodramatic here and there, but all in all a suitable replacement for Heroes. Michael Chiklis does an overall good job, the woman who played his wife was OK, but the kids I can take or leave, to be honest.

I do like how the show didn't beat around the bush at explaining their powers. Took them one episode to do what Heroes would've done in 5 or 6. And there are clear 'good guys' and 'bad guys' so far.

So, did anyone else watch it? What's your verdict?

Cyber Burn

Crap, I forgot to record it. Hopefully, the pikot will re-air, I had wanted to at least check this out.

Well, if you live stateside:  http://www.hulu.com/no-ordinary-family

And yeah, not too bad at all.  I was afraid they would end up making it more of a family drama, but it looks like they aren't forgetting the superhero angle and have the beginning o an interesting plot.  I agree that just doing the origin and moving on was the best thing. Keeps things moving along.  The last 15 minutes was a real surprise, but only in good ways.
I am the cat that walks by himself, all ways are alike to me.

Wow... for people to like a pilot it usually takes a bit (even the Its Always Sunny pilot was rough).

I cant wait to check it out in a few days, maybe once a second episode is out.

I enjoyed it. Never liked  "Heros: but this  has got me a little more intru=igued. I like theparents and the buddy but thekids are no big thrill so far.

IMO Heroes had a better start....but NOF is cool.  The acting could be improved however though.

Mr. Hamrick

I'm going to have to give it another episode or two before I pass any final judgment on it.

However, I will say that

I agree the kids were not all that great.  The son in particular.

It was weird seeing Julie Benz in that kind of role.  I am so use to seeing her as Darla.  LOL!

Michael Chiklis is playing a cop AGAIN?  Sorry but it's typecasting.  Even if it's been a different kind of cop for each series.  This is at least the third time he has played a cop on TV series.

The daughter, Kay Panabaker, is the younger sister of Danielle Panabaker.  She reminds me too much of her sister in appearance but that isn't a bad thing.  Her sister is a decent actress, I guess.

The show has promise but we will have to see if it makes it.
