Can't Play FFVTR with FFX 3

Has anyone encountered this problem ever? Each time I try to start up the FFX3 mod I get this error message "alert: CFast Heap::allocation failed, out of many memory". I also can't install FFX editor anymore. The thing is, I have an external hard drive and plenty of free space of my computer. How do I get around this. Thus far I can only play the regular FFTR game but who wants to do that when the mod is so much better?
