One of the best things about this game is the nemesis system. I would like to see what you guys came up with, hence the tread  

Black Dragon`s nemeses :

Obakemono , dual swords, martial arts ninjas for henchmen



Big Boss, might, military weapons mafia for henchmen



The Hawk, archery, military weapons soldiers for henchmen




And Lightning Bolt`s first nemesis (he just hit 25 lvl)
Doctor Dreyfuss, power armor, power armor robots for henchmen

Spartanic nemesis...Neo Xerxes! A reincarnation of the wouldbe conquerer. He uses the Might powerset with Ninjas(Immortals) for henchmen.



Deadbang nemesis...Bloodshot! One of the surviving members of Deadbang's elite hit squad for Viper. He uses munitions and soldiers for henchmen.



Red Sovereign nemesis...The Supreme Soviet! He was the original "Red Sovereign" until he went mad. A Superman archtype that uses robots to do his bidding.



Wild Wave nemesis...Lord Nalya! Former royal advisor of Lemuria banished for delving too deep into the dark arts. Darkness powerset with lizardmen henchmen.

Well, due to the fact I'm an alt-o-holic (I have one lvl 40, and bought a set of extra character slots and only have one free at the moment), I only have one hero high level enough to even have any Nemesis. My next two highest heroes are close, though. (Both lvl 22)

I give you Midnight Crusader's Nemesis, in order:

Nemesis #1: Lady Black: Gadgeteering Maniac with Military Weapons Soldiers. The only Nemesis whose costume was pre-designed. I almost used it for a Sorcery heroine I was thinking about making but decided not to, instead of for a Nemesis. (Removed her cape when I decided to make her a Nemesis instead, but that's the only change I made)



Nemesis #2: Doctor Braincus: Might Mastermind with Martial Arts Robots. How Doctor Braincus ended up a human brain in that body (and its actually a robotic body disguised as a zombie's in order to fool - and scare - people) is unknown, but he's pure evil.




Nemesis #3: Choppin' Broccoli: Single Blades Mastermind with Martial Arts Lizardmen. Broccoli is actually Midnight Crusader's sister, but she isn't aware MC is her brother. She was badly injured (though the injuries weren't life threatening) in an auto accident and unfortunately ingested radioactive broccoli while in the hospital that changed her appearance and twisted her mind. (I'm considering recreating her as a hero eventually, the explanation being that her mind was cured)



Nemesis #4 (current): Professor Mechanus: Power Armor Savage with Military Weapons Thugs. Professor Mechanus was an inventor designing weapons for an unnamed nation's military, and made the mistake of testing out a suit of armor he had invented himself. Unfortunately, something was wrong with the cybernetic linkage system in the armor's helmet and it not only drained some of his intellect, but drove him mad. He actually believes he is a robot, not a human being wearing armor.



And Choppin' Broccoli is named after one of my favorite Dana Carvey SNL sketches, though I understand he also does the bit as part of his stand-up act.

Braincus is awesome, its a very effective design. Might can be a real pain in deathray demolition.

I've only created one nemesis so far, since I am sooo slow at leveling.

Speaking of nemeses, I can't finish my second mission. That one where you escort the fella. He just keeps on dying, and sometimes he's killed by level 40 cowboys or robots or something, instead of same level zombies. Gosh, it's so frustrating. I tried it again last night but quit after two times.

I haven't had that mission.  I think what mission your recieve is random.  Can you drop it and then get another?

You can drop it but after six hours you`ll get the same mission, so you`re pretty much stuck with it until completion.

Black Dragon is really fast with putting his villains behind bars, so I`ve got new ones to show 


Leopold von Flockenstuffen, a German scientist obsessed with war and destruction as a phenomenon, gadgeteer, uses super strenght robots for henchmen




Voodoo (current nemesis), sadistical necromancer and voodoo magic practicioner, darkness, uses darkness zombies for henchmen.

I was thinking about doing a voodoo guy for Corpse. Yours turned out really swell though. I like the other fella too.

What happens when you put the nemesis away. Do you keep them in a stock rogue's gallery or do they disappear?

You keep them all in stock as a rouges gallery. After putting him away you get too choose either to make a new villain or reactivate any of the old ones, really cool actually.

Bloddy Mary, psychotic assassin using an unusual and unpredictable fighting style that makes her even more deadly, MA claws, using military weapons convicts for henchmen


And after putting all those nems behind bars I updated and reactivated Black Dragon`s original nemesis: Obakemono

Midnight Crusader's latest Nemesis:

Red Ghoul - Fire Mastermind, with Super Strength Undead henchmen. Red Ghoul was an arsonist/serial killer (he only burned buildings that he was sure were occupied) who died in the fire of an apartment building he sat on fire rather than surrender to the police who had surrounded the building, but returned as an undead being with fire powers rather than going to Hell where he belonged.



Cyberknight X's first Nemesis:

Dragon Queen - Dual Blades Mastermind, with Martial Arts Ninja henchmen. Dragon Queen is a nutcase who believes she is a decendant of the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi - even though she's not Japanese!

Nice, I like Red Ghoul`s design, Midnight Crusader` rouges gallery is becoming very diverse, which is one of the things which I focus in when making nemesis for BD, so kudos for that 

I really like Dragon Queen`s concept, loonies are always cool villains. Who wouldn`t want to be Musashi`s descendant

It's soon coming up on the time for Crimson Guardian to get his first Nemmy. He's Might / Force with Flight, and pretty much a "Classic" style flying brick with energy blast. Should I give him a Mad Scientist type Nemmy, a la Luthor or Dr Sivana, or a 'dark counterpart' a la Bizarro or Black Adam?

I`m voting for the second option Val, because it makes the nemesis encounters much more epic.
It looks really cool when you have two might characters beating the hell out of each other.
