Also the first 24 issues of Invincible (Invincible Library vol 1) for $15.

These books normally retail for about $100.

And I just spent 60 bucks I didn't have... so worth it.

EDIT: They finally canceled most of my order today.
HOWEVER the Fantastic 4 omnibus wasn't canceled and remains by itself, apparently with free shipping no longer (its total is 12.23 now). I didn't really want that one as much and I was going to give it away, so I'll just cancel it anyway.

Not really, I really like Amazon and their policy does state they can cancel orders for reasons like this, so its all good.

Gawd I wish this would not have happened right after rent, or I easily would have dropped $100 on $700 worth of books.

People are receiving cancellation letters. I ordered a couple books. I haven't recieved my cancellation yet.
Fantastic deal, couldn't let it pass but I figured it wouldn't work out, but all I've lost is a little time. They might even throw in a small discount for the trouble.

I was reading the comentary... looks like they are killing orders with multiples but have not done anything about orders with 1x of items. Maybe they are going in order of priority, or maybe they are reducing the damage while still keeping good PR.

Either way like you said, nothing lost, my card has not been charged, but if I get even one of those books I'll go nuts.

Yeah I've been watching it too. It's too early to make any assumptions but at the moment it does seem they're only killing the multiple copy orders. Honestly I was pretty disappointed when I heard people were using this to buy bulk and resell. I mean there's taking advantage and then there's really taking advantage.

I ordered the Ultimates, Bendis Daredevil vol 2 and Secret Wars omnibuses. The Ultimates one was something I really wanted but wasn't willing to pay full price for so I'd love for that to go through. If they cancel it that's fine, like I said all I lost was time plus I gained a little excitement.

I updated my post above, but I also just got a $25 gift certificate. I was chocking it up to easy come, easy go but now I'm living large with a sweetass gift certificate. Amazon is the best thing ever.
