Nodes? Where can you edit where the power "comes from" on a hero?

Sorry, have been searching KBase again & can't find where in FFEdit I can modify where a certain power originates. Like using AlexFF's hero recipes & trying to make, let's say, freeze breath, for Superman, originate @ his head instead of his right hand. Thank you sirs!

You can set the nodes in the FX panel of FFedit.

Say you want a character to have alchemiss arcane bolt's coming from their head, you can find that entry (alchemiss_arcanebolt) in the FX tab and change its Start Node attachment point to "Head" in the left box, causing "Bip01 Head" to appear in the box in the right.

Now, this will of caourse make all arcane bolts fire from the head.

If you dont wnat that, make a copy called alchemiss_headbolt or something and change the attachment point in there.
Now go to the Sounds tab and find the entries fx_alchemiss_arcanebolt_1, fx_alchemiss_arcanebolt_2 and fx_alchemiss_arcanebolt_3.
For each one, change the name to fx_alchemiss_headbolt_1 etc., and press the New button. Finally, press Save down the bottom.

This second lengthier process means you keep the original and have a head centered beam.

Note you can also specify the head (or any other body part) for the end of a projectile or beam, good for psi attacks, for example.

DrMike, thank you for setting me straight on that. You know, one big hangup I have w/ FF & FFVTTR is how to make things work in the vanilla game AND the mods. For instance, I just changed all the generic_cone powers to give Superman super breath & freeze breath & it works great in FFVTTR vanilla, but doesn't work in Crisis or ffx3_Mappack2 mods, for instance. That's my big impasse in making these cool tweaks work for me...making the changes, fx's, hero attributes, etc. work across all mods. I appreciate you guys helping me limp along here!  Blessings.

FYI, I had to change start, end, & core to Bip01 Head & uncheck track rot on all boxes to make the cones come from the head & follow thru to impact the bad guys accordingly.
