I guess this belongs here.

There's a comic I've been reading for a while called Doc Rat.  It's mostly a gag-a-day strip about a private medical practice, though occasionally there will be arcs and every once in a while things turn serious (I think that's what's starting up now).  I'm what you could describe as a casual fan.

Anyhoo... the artist has a "Caption This" contest every month.  The winner gets the original artwork with the winning caption framed and mounted.  I've entered every once in a while if I feel inspired and sign it with my initials "Mea".

Well... whadya know... bad pun for the win

BTW: did I mention that the cartoonist lives in Australia?  This is why I love the internet, this could never have happened 20 years ago.  :D

Anyway, wanted to share.

I would have sustained more damage if I didn't have a friend who is an invertebrate punster and has built up my resistance.

Good job, I love a good pun. Of course a bad pun IS a good pun really.

Groaned, but then lightly chuckled out loud.
I apologize in advance for everything I say on here. I regret it immediately after clicking post.
