But we probably will whisper behind your back anyway.

I already do.

Yeah but he always talks about cheesecake and how cute he thinks Tomato is, so it's more annoying than anything else.

Thursday right? And, do we post our submissions here or PM them to judges?

Flying_Fox

Going to have to drop out I'm afraid, a new job, a computer crash and getting back into CoH means I won't make the deadline.

Sorry.
Something wicked this way comes...

Cyber Burn

If you need a last minute entry to fill the spot, I know I'm not really a skinner, but I'll take the assignment if it will help you guys out. Just pm me and let me know.

You can post the submissions in this thread starting Wednesday.  Because of different time zones... we'll be a bit lenient on the deadline.  But all entries should have been posted by the time I wake upFriday.

Remember... the final image must contain a front, side and back view of the skin

Ehhh... life happens.

But I do ask... if there are any other drops... now is the time to say so.

Xenolith

I don't want to drop, and plan on working on a skin Thursday night (pusing it I know), so if you need a drop, I'll do it.  I thought I'd have more time than I did.

The Hitman

Just re- installed CTool2 this morning... gonna see if I still have "The Touch." No drops... honest.

Jakew

I'm going to have to drop, unfortunately. I'm half-finished, but I'm buried in work at the moment.

deano_ue

the drop outs are fine, ironically this works out

Cyber Burn

I really struggled with the cape, I just couldn't figure out the mapping. This is the first skin I've done in a while, just haven't been motivated. So thanks for giving me a reason to fire up my paint.net again. It was fun. Frustrating, but fun.  :D

Xenolith

BTW, I just notice my assignment doesn't have a wiremap.  Probably not a big deal for the body, but for the extras, I think I'll need a guide.  I don't want to just paint over a c6 skin, if I can help it.  Any help?

Previsionary

you can get wireframes for extras from nifskope... usually.

Mine did't either, so I used regular Male Basic and traced the outlines of the C6 stuff in the Extras file on a separate layer, then filled the C6 bottom with black. Not exactly a wireframe, but it seems to have worked.

I used reprints of the Jack Kirby run on GA as a source, but, well, I'm no Jack Kirby (I gave up on the knobby knees). About the only bits of Jack left are the upper lip and the chin squiggle. That mask he drew does not work in three dimensons, either. This utilized my own base skin.

I could probably work on it some more, but I don't think it will improve.

The Hitman

Wow, I didn't realize how rusty I'd gotten after 6 mo. of inactivity... well, here he is:

Spoiler

I chose the Timmverse base because, well... I like the look. I figured there's enough comic- style Wolvies out there, and a nice X-Men: TAS version would be interesting (And, I assumed I wouldn't get many points for Skill, so I might as well try for Creativity!). As such, my skin is missing belt loops because the TAS Logan didn't have belt loops.

This was a lot of fun, and may have gotten me interested in skinning again! And Great job Cyber and Globby (and everyone after me on this thread)!

daglob

I dunno, I kinda like that version of Wolvie. The only criticism I have on Cap is that his cape looks a little dark, otherwise, he looks good. And he kinda resembles Fred MacMurray a little too...

detourne_me

Wow! I really like the cartoony skins for Green Arrow and Wolverine!
It's neat.
Cyberburn, you did a nice job too! The black on the gauntlets might be a bit much, but  I'm loving the Fred MacMurray eyebrows!

I really do work better under pressure, so handing in my entry on the last day is par for the course.

Luke Cage V2.

Great work from those already submitted, good luck to those still to come. I hope the rest of the entries make it in, I'd hate for the first event like this to fizzle.

Now we have something original! X-Men: TAS! I think you have a great skin here and would love to see this continued. Great skins all around gang! Release?

Tomato

I find it hilarious that even though I know some people got the same char, all posted entries have been different.

Interesting indeed.

The skins are looking good so far.

Xenolith

I've failed guys.  I'm sorry.  I thought I could swing it in two weeks, but I just never found the time.

What i've seen so far exceeds what I would have been able to do, but I never like to completely drop the ball like this.

Anyway, some really nice stuff here, I'm very impressed.

murs47

I've been incredibly busy lately so I didn't have enough time to finish this guy. Sorry about that. Well, here's what I've got:
