Talking dog for the win.  :)

Anyone else reminded of "Dexter's Lab" seeing this (the episode within the series "Dexter's Lab", the one with the talking dog.  "It's a thing!  It's A THING!" :) )

I saw the trailer for this the other night.  Looks like Pixar has done it again.

That's what I thought. Still, this movie looks really hilarious. I can't wait.

That was my all-time favorite Dexter episode.

I believe the thought occurred to me, but this is sufficiently original that I didn't dwell on it too much.  That was a great Dexter episode though.

In an unprecedented move, "Up" opened the Cannes Film festival this year.  It's rare for a non-french film to open Cannes, let alone an animated 3D (as in "wear the glasses" 3D) film.

Early buzz is very positive.

Actually, no animated film, 3d or not, has ever opened the festival before.

But yes, very positive.  I read a very glowing early review from the festival.
