Curious Ponderings. Mesh request...

I'm looking to get a mesh, but I don't think this can b done with simple skoping.

What I'd like is the shrukle or whatever they are called from FFvsTR. You know, the one horned yeti thing. Except without the horn or the hangy bit of crotch fur. Now I don't personally know if this is even possible. Did Irrational ever release the max for this fella? If so, are there any people who are able and willing to make these changes? I don't know how difficult it would be to implement.

If there IS some way to fake this with skoping I'd also love to hear suggestions on that. I've considered alphaing out the horn and put a tiny little piece over where the hole in the head would be? I don't know if this would work though, and can't operate the computer that I could test this out on currently. If anybody else has the time I'd be very grateful.

But yeah, basically I want to skin that character but I don't know how I'll get a mesh for him. This is really the only thing I've seen so far that comes close.

Well I can tell ya for sure Irrational never released a single mesh beyond the generic ones for FFVTR. So the only way a mesher could help ya would be to use nifskope to steal the body from the .nif.. rig an entire new bones structure for it.. then put all diff anims because of no way to retrieve those from the .nif to max.. so essentially it would be an entirely new mesh.. I'm afraid you might need to hope for a hexxer to save ya on this one.

Yeah, I thought it would be a big deal. Dang.

If anybody's got suggestions on an easier way to cheat it I'm all ears. If there's no way I'll just let it be for now.
