Powers and attributes do you suggest?

I an creating a hero that can grow into a giant like yellow jacket what powers and attributes should I use for him since I never made a character like him, in fact how do you make it grow into a giant?

3 basic options:

1) just use a giant mesh or keyframes - if your character doesn't really do much in his smaller form then you may just want to do this.

2) size changing keyframes - can have normal attacks and more powerful attacks where character appears to grow. Will give the illusion of size changing but only at specific times and will therefore be short-lived.

3) set-up alternate forms in FFX. You'll need FFX and 2 different sized meshes. Set up a hero file for each mesh. Assign one mesh as the base form - use accidental change or shape shifter for the base form. The second form will have either alternate form or involuntary form attribute. Use the FFX control center to associate the forms with each other.

Note: a variation of 3 can be done with built-in characters using the same set-up as Law and Order in FFEdit.

I presume this should address most of your question as the rest of the powers should just follow your character concept.


IIRC, both Valander and Tommyboy have done size-changing keyframes.
