After all these years what keeps you playing Freedom Force and FF vs The Third Reich?

Playing the original games? Playing modded campaigns? Battling custom characters in the rumble room? Modding the game yourself in general?

Modding the games and seeing the new characters in action.

And you?

The new creations and recreations that we add to the game together make it enjoyable—being able to put members of my dream team (which generally includes Raphael, Winston, Wolverine, Broadway, Agent K, Moo Montana Marshall, Batman, Jason Red Ranger, Cornelia Hale, Leela, Tamora Callhoun, Punisher, Zarya, Mike Wazowski, WormGuys, Sonic, Mario, The Thing, Patoruzu, Bat Ranger, Trapito, Zak Storm, Zuzo, Carapace, Bumblebee, etc.) mixed with others I like.

What they said, plus it is still the best Superhero game I have played. Granted the graphics are dated and the community has shrunk, but I can still work up any hero I can imagine. The number of mods for it are incredible, and even though FFvtTR changed some of the engine, You can still pit the Avengers against the Justice League, or the Hulk against Superman and not receive the same outcome every time.

Not to mention all the great characters still be added by the dedicated fans. It's still #1 in my book.

:ffvstr: is pretty much my battleworld for all of the characters I've assembled over the years. I especially have enjoyed hanging among the community members here and only left because of offline situations dragging me away or technical issues setting me back (again and again). Plus I'm fully aware that VPMAX has way more delays then GTA has had in it's decades of being developed as a series ( :banghead: ).

Lately most of my collecting has been assembling a fairly large action figure collection (GI JOE CLASSIFIED, VALAVERSE, MARVEL LEGENDS) and shelves of comic omnibus(es).. omnibii? Whatever they are called. Annnnnnd my garage looks like a Blockbuster moved in.. *ahem* yeah, I'm a collector.

Someday I might return to doing skopes if I can ever get the programs to work for long periods of time. Plus I have to dig through my old hard drives to see if I can restore downloads to both my audio projects and skopes.. until I get my website back online fully.
