I was catching upon some x-force earlier and was wondering if someone could make some skins for these pre-existing meshes https://imgur.com/gallery/tank-x-force-EUsjMvS Tank, is really cool, I think if somebody skoped grenadier's Blood Axe mesh

and also has sombody made skin of Mondo? from generation X

Randomdays

Afghan Ant has Rachel Summers as Phoenix 2 and different versions of Betsy as Psylocke, including an X-force version

Ink has Forge, Sage, and Surge, and there's others out there of at least Forge and Sage and the above.

I didn't see anything for Mondo or Tank

eluvium

Oh I'm aware the mesh's ae out there, I think these costumes are fairly recent but I'll give it another look see, I know Mondo and Tank aren't up anywhere though

I know the character and I released a model of him in one of the Marvel packs, but when you post the link you should check that it works... otherwise it literally makes no sense.

the image link? works on my end

I do have that marvel pack, but I don't know what keyframes the mesh is rigged to

The models are just models, like the ones you get from model resources or similar sites, like the ones you emailed me on several occasions.

They don't have movement capabilities and aren't compatible without the complex work of assigning a skeleton to an "action code," which are the keyframes.

Therefore, without rigging, they won't work. I create the models because the large number of characters I've made are either commissioned or I literally want them, but they aren't in any other game or version.

Creating them simplifies things, and since they already have textures and designs that match what's used in the game, you can't use model designs as heavy as some you've seen on DeviantArt; they're simply too big to use in Freedom.

Capturing a model takes time and requires a suitable sample video and several hours of work, perhaps, from start to finish and upload. But that doesn't mean it's a playable final product that you can just throw in a folder with a keyframe file next to it.

The rigging process—building the skeleton of the model for animation and checking that the animations work correctly—is even more tedious and requires more manual effort.

I hope these clarifications help clear up any doubts you may have and allow you to appreciate the efforts of others in the community who contribute to the material.

Alternatively, check the active threads and releases, or simply use the search function on the forum itself. You'll find everything that way, by searching.

When I release a character that's ready to have its folder added to the character folder and be playable, I indicate this by writing "ready to play or playable". These are usually skopes or skins.I hope this helps.

it does thanks, I appreciate your concision, it's been awhile since I've been on here, in the past people have typically just posted links to grab things when they are ready to go in the game, but it has been awhile, and I understand that not as many people are working on things at the moment and that has changed things, I'm  just catching up to new dynamics and such, not trying to interrupt any grooves or change things up, just collecting and relearning things. I was  involved with someone who went to game design so I do have some idea as to how tedious animation is and how time consuming, I'm nowhere near the level of learnedness I'd need to be to take that on, I was learning point weighting and skoping for a bit but something in my life interrupted that and I had to leave the community to focus on my health and safety. I'm sorry if I'm making a bad impression, I've been running into technical difficulties with skins not showing up, and compression formats and such, so I tend to try and see if something can be made by someone more experienced or better yet already exists, I also have been collecting miniatures and sometimes I get my collections mixed up in my head and can't remember which version of which I have :P  but anyway, thanks for taking the time to explain, I do understand and appreciate what you do, sorry if you are feeling bombarded, I sent the deviantart stuff to be helpful, but again I'm not as learned as some and I'm catching up

Don't worry, everything's fine. I'll help in any way I can, as always. If there's anything beyond my control, I'll let you know. Hopefully, things will improve. Personally, I prefer different characters in the game instead of many versions of the same character. I feel the same way about action figures; I'd rather have one different character than five Spider-Men. It's just a matter of taste!

eluvium

yeah I mean it can depend, for me I work mostly with he character tool and do stuff with screenshots, some characters have so many versions its like a part of the character themself
