Super Hero Landing

It works in character tool, I haven't tested it in game yet. You should be able to use M25 keyframe transfer tool to add it to any male basic.

Edit Update: I've tested it in game and it works. If you are zoomed all the way out with the camera, you see the whole sequence. But if you are in close, when he goes off screen, he disappears and pops back in at ground level with the end of the sequence. Tapping 1 or (or 2, whichever hero he is) closes in on the purple circle, where his feet would be. The bounding box moves up with him, making him unable to be targeted. I'm thinking of making the upward peak a lot lower.
This is getting me to think about the flying bullet. I'm wondering how this would work against flyers? What about a fake melee area animation? Jumping uppercut that leaves hand at the top?
If anyone experiments or tests this animation, let me know.

I am going to test it when I get to my PC. Like I did with your last anim.

Suggestion. How about differing heights?

Street Level = Lamp Post Level
Batman = Building Level
Hulk and Supes= Sky Level

Tips: It could work against flyers if you change the "contact" into "leave_hand".

I did it for my Super flyers. So they can melee airborn and ground targets. (direct attack)

For grounded characters: A shoryuken uppercut anim like Ryu would work wonders against flyers.

Here it is. Everything is working fine when he goes up.

But you can't see him land and do the pose.

Maybe you should put the contact tag when he hits the ground?

I tried fixing it using Nifskope. But I can only see Cyke when I am zoomed out. Max zoomout.

I don't know what causes this problems.

The problem is when the character goes offscreen, the nif engine disappears him. What happens if you tap his hero number to follow? Does the cam go up with him? I feel like we are going to have to make the jump a lot smaller.

He will only appear once you click on the ground to move.

Why not lower the z axis into building level to avoid this?

Building level for Super. And Lamp Post level for Hulk.

Edit 1: I tried fixing it. But the same thing happens. Maybe we should avoid Sky level?

Edit 2: The gamebreaking anim can be used for temporary invisibilty cloak for Teemo and Batman Beyond. lol

The problem was the camera. Once a character is offscreen. The game will delete the character.

I tried lowering the z value and it worked. But now he looks odd looking up in the sky for more than 5 seconds. :banghead:

How about a pause anim while in the air for a couple of seconds? To compensate the low altitude. :)
