Penguin is popular now, thanks to Gotham and Grodd because of the Flash.  It's going to be a toy line soon, so they see this as an investment with these new body types.

That picture makes the case look enormous. Even with the figure (which you can clearly see packed in the front) I can't imagine why the box is so thick.

In case anyone missed it in the actual article I posted, there's a DVD animated movie (which is what the trailer is for) and then 20 shorts that will be available for free on digital platforms. Sure, why not. I will say that if they're shorts I'm willing to lower my expectations a bit.

Also, I looked back on this thread and was reminded that there WAS a Deathstroke toy in the toyline. And with Penguin, Grodd and Slade (just by association with Arrow) you have a villain in the show for Batman, Flash and Arrow. Seems fair to me.

The robot animals make me think of the old Marvel comic Brute Force and Metal Gear Rising. A little childish and 80's-esque, but I can dig it.

The movie is pretty fun.Nothing groundbreaking,but its fun.Charachter design is okay,except maybe Killer Croc who looks kinda like Zilla.

Meant to post these a few months ago, it's the youtube shorts.

Saw the two movies on tv recently. They were fun, not terrible, not amazing. I appreciated some of the voice casts and some of the character designs, hearing more Troy Baker Joker is always good.

As for the shorts, I can tell you what my problem with them is. Since they're so short that they have basically no plot, just a chase or fight sequence, and since you know the good guys are going to win, they feel like they lack any stakes or substance. It doesn't help that the video description gives away what's going to happen.
