Hi everyone,

I've been trying to have a set up door/s to open on my Tardis shell to no avail. I've created animations in blender and tried exporting to nif and/or kf and although I can get the door to flicker in and out of view within nifskope it's not working the way I'd hope.

I tried searching forums and tutorials but still struggling.

Any advice and assistance would be most welcome, whether that be another mesh I could skope onto or some thoughts on how to get the opening door to work :)

I'm terrible with animations though in the interest of getting your question which is in my opinion a good one more attention and starting an idea. Off hand I would think using the " pick up pole " animation on any mesh as a base would create the illusion of this. The character reaches forward and back again. It would be a matter of changing the time on the animation and perhaps limiting what some of the bipeds are directed to do. Again not my area of expertize but I think that would be a good starting point as it's similar to the motion one use to open a door. Really any animation where a character extends an arm or both is a good place to start, then sort of remix it to look more proper. There's better keyframe operators here than I that can hopefully fill you in on the specifics and values needed for this.
