Batman_Gren confusion

I found a Batman skin by C6 on his UnhostedSkins yahoo group.
Looks great, the readme says:

I got to http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Grenadiermeshes14/files/
and there's no Batman_Gren. So I search all his groups and it turns up in Grenadiermeshes9

I download that, add the skin and get:


Now, I do like Bat Belt-face man and will work him into a future mod, but this obviously means this is not the right mesh for this skin. Is there some other Batman_Gren ? Or is did C6 mean some other mesh?

There is an older "Batman_Gren" Mesh, and so, you have mail.

There are two "Batman_Gren" meshes.

The old one is in the same pose as "Male_Basic" when in his "melee_idle" stance.

The other, newer mesh (the one Gren hosted on the late Champions Site), uses more of a martial arts "melee_idle" animation.

I'm guessing that the skin by C6 goes on the old "Batman_Gren" mesh, and you are currently trying to put it on his new mesh.

I can send you the old mesh if you'd like, as I am unsure if the old one is even hosted any more in his yahoo groups.

Thanks guys. I did get Cyber's . Turns I did have that one as well (in a folder of stuff C6 had sent me way back).

The Skin I found looks great on it. Bad news is there's alpha issues on the cape (in FF).
Will likely be fine in FFv3R after a nifconvert, but I was just trying to cover all my bases

I know what you mean.  As much as I love Gren's new meshes, I still wish that the old C6 skins were compatible.

That's quite alright. I know if it's you doing the Skope, then Alex is in good hands. 

I've also been planning on doing some Skope_Fu for C6's "Justice Lords" Skins, mainly to condense file size (So I can use multiple Meshes with the same Keyframes).
