Okay, this isn't exactly a request, but then again, it is.  Confused yet?  I sure am.

So, I'm working on a mod, and I'm using the excellent pyramid map by Conduit.  In this map are several obelisk like pillars.  If you've got the map pack or FF1, you can open this map up and check them out for yourself.  They exist.  They are there.  They display properly and everything.  However, in FFEdit they reference the template ff_basepillar.  That template also exists, and IT references its nif as being in: library\area_speciff1\city\little_italy_objects\bank_pillar\bank_pillar.nif.  The only problem is, said directory doesn't exist.  I've got my Little Italy objects, but there is neither hide nor hair of a "bank pillar."  Yet, somehow this thing still gets displayed.  Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

This matters because I'm using these objects for something else, but they won't show up outside of those placed in this map already, so I need a way to place that object in my mod folder.

Okay, I found it.  Oddly enough, this thing's template pointed to the wrong mesh location, but it STILL worked in the map.  The actual mesh is in city/street_objects/ff_base_ext_obelisk.  How bizarre is that?

I'm sensing a GoSub lurking nearby.   ;)
