QuoteThe upcoming release of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 will be the first DC animated project released in 2013, but they've announced more films to round out the year (via World's Finest).

Expected in the summer of 2013 is Superman: Unbound, which will be an adaptation of Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's 'Braniac' story. Following that will be Justice League: Flashpoint, which adapts the Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert mini-series that jump started the New 52 last year. 2013 will also see the release of LEGO Batman: DC Heroes Unite, which will be an animated adaptation of the popular video game series.

No word on who will be doing the voices in these films, but  Gary Miereanu of Warner Home Video confirmed that the DC animated films will continue through 2014 and beyond. What comics would you like to see turned into animated films?

Looking forward to the first two films. I'm dreading the LEGO Batman movie.

Looking forward to Part 2 of the Batman movie, the others don't sound bad either.
