Anyone else played this game or the sequel?  It's a hybrid 3rd person shoot/tower defense game and is tons of fun.

Basically, you play a Battlemage, tasked with defending this rifts between worlds from hoards and hoards of orc, using a combination of traps, spells, and weapons.   Like tower defense games, you plant traps and earn money for killing bad guys to use to play more traps.  Like action games, you run around killing bad guys with your weapons and spells.

In addition, you can upgrade your traps permanently using "skulls" which you earn based on your performance in the missions.  You can, of course, repeat levels to get the full 5 skulls.

Anyhow, whenever I get the second game, which has coop, I wouldn't mind teaming up with some of you guys.

Still playing OMD1 myself.  Do you already have OMD2?  If so, I might consider getting it sooner.  Coop play does sound like fun.

I've got them both, and I love this as a silly, fun little game.  The second actually adds a bit of depth that makes it even better, and nothing is lost in the process.  Yes, Co-op is an absolute blast.  It's nice not to have to split your attention as much.

Played the first one to death a while back... was super busy lately but finally made the time to instal the second and like Benton says, it is an upgrade. I love how much control I have over my inventory of traps and how they are customized now.

Downloading OMD 2 right now, having just finished the last level in the first one.

Not sure how playing coop with someone works, but my steam name is the same as my FR one if anyone wants to look me up that way.
