Torchlight II

Just got the first one on sale for a couple dollars and was impressed. I checked out some previews for the sequel and holy cow! It looks great!

I decided to pre-order on Steam, is anyone else gonna be grabbing this? I'd like to play with some folks when it comes out.

Torchlight is made by Diablo developers and Fate developers joining forces to create a new studio.  Yes, it's a great game and the second one should be too, although the hideously long delays are turning some folks off to it.

"Many times" is the wrong word, but it was originally supposed to come out over a year ago.

I'm getting this for sure.  A buddy of mine did the preorder four pack, so a group of us are going to play.  I didn't much care for Diablo 2, and these types of games don't usually get my attention, but I was surprised by how much fun the first Torchlight was.

I may get it too. The first one, while not nearly as addictive as the first two Diablos, was quite enjoyable.

I will get to it later, since I already have games I'm really badly hooked on, but I love Torchlight (I find it more colorful and less OCD than diablo) and I'm one of the few who got to play Mythos (the early Torchlight mmo prototype).
