The Witcher 2 is coming out for 360 this month, and I'm thinking of getting it. Anyone played it on PC? Yay or nay?
I've largely abandoned PC gaming but this was one game I was really interested, so I'm happy to hear it's being ported to consoles. Hopefully it will be a decent port.

I thought the game was great.
It feels like a much prettier more adult/nuanced version of games like Dragon Age.

Plus I'm a big fan of the developer and their take on DRM etc...
I had been planning on upgrading my PC and this was the game that pushed me over the edge to finally do it.

It is fairly unforgiving in terms of learning curve but that said it is a really fun game and what it does, it does very well. I would wait and see how good it is for the 360 though, that is a fancy game on PC and hopefully they did not compromise anything too important for the 360.

That's my plan.

Heres a video comparison:

It looks like the 360 is missing a lot of the post processing filters, and may stutter a little at at some of the Vista shots, but still looks pretty decent for a console port.

Seriously thinking about getting a 360 because of this game. My pc can't handle it, and I really want to play it. There are other games I would want to play on the 360 that I can't on my ps3 also.

It doesn't matter which system you get the game on, you just have to get this game.  N'uff Said!

Honestly if it is the same game but one has better graphics, totally buy it. I would just have been worried if it had less missions, less recorded dialog or stuff like that.

Honestly I really liked Witcher 2 but hit a tough boss and took a break. Now that the new edition is out I'm going to start again from scratch with a little hindsight.

I got it and I'm enjoying it.

How are the controls?
I never really got into the first wirtcher because the controls seemed a bit wonky.
