Did anyone else catch the world premiere last night? I'm not familiar with the source property, but I really enjoyed the live action movie.

Good story, good special FX, lots of bloodshed, and it was dubbed so I didn't have to spend the entire movie trying to keep up with the reading.

I actually read some of the original manga a while back; there was a lot more that I didn't read, but what I did read, I thought was good. And if anyone wants to know what Gantz is actually about, just go to Wikipedia or Tvtropes.
