Did Bryan Danielson (I'm not calling him Daniel Bryan!) get a piece of Cole?

No one got a piece of Cole (hehe).

What happened is Wade Barrett walked down the ramp (wearing a black armband with a yellow N on it, as were all the others rookies) during the Cena/Punk main event, when he got real close to the ring, Micheal Tarver was shown jumping the guard rail from the audience, then we saw all the others rookies coming from all sides. A few of them then attacked CM Punk and Luke Gallows, as soon as that happened Serena high tailed it out of there really fast, then all 8 rookies went in the ring, David Otunga punched the ref and they all beat the hell out of Cena for a few minutes. After that the real chaos started, Matt Striker was taken down and then Jerry Lawler and I think that's when Micheal Cole vanished (he didnt get attacked by anyone), then the NXTers took down the bellringer and some security guys and started to toss chairs around, turned the announcer table over on top of Lawler, went nuts on Justin Robert (the ring announcer), watching Daniel Bryan strangle him with his tie was pretty funny. They trashed the place pretty good, tearing part of the guard rail, exposing the wood under the ring mat, dislodging a turnbuckle or two. They then went back in the ring to beat on Cena some more, hitting some impact move, CM Punk tried to get some revenge but was taken out fast, Daniel Bryan then started to scream at Cena "You're not better than me!" a few times and spat in his face before kicking his head (hehe that was awesome), it ended with Justin Gabriel hitting the 450 splash on Cena, then they walked to the back to mixed cheers and boos.

The whole thing was cool, but it would have been better and make more sense if a few faces from the back came to try and help Cena, Evan Bourne at least since he's now all buddy with Cena should have come to help, but whatever it was still pretty shocking and the best ending of RAW in years.

And I guess they continued this down in FCW, as they laid out Christian and the Miz as well. I like it. Umm, about season 2 of NXT. Poor Low Ki (Kavel). He doesn't deserve LaCool.

From what I read, they had to release him because sponsors or something were not happy at all with the imagery of Danielson choking Justin Roberts with his own tie, apparently WWE hands are tied, they need a scapegoat, they need things to cool down and they hope to rehire Brian Danielson at a later point.

That's what happens when you go all PG ratings with PG sponsors and... (ahum) Linda MacMahon running for senate.

If that's all true then I hope Justin Roberts, the careman shooting that intense scene, the cutting editor that put that particular camera shot on live RAW and whomever wrote that angle all get released too, because having Danielson as the only cullprint is not fair at all.

Now, that is if that's really the reason he got released anyway... if he's really released at all...

That makes sense. Someone being choked like that should definitely not be part of a family show about people killing each other. This is like when Mohammed Hassan had some minions choke the Undertaker that time. They realized that having an Arabic man whose gimmick was that people stereotyped him unfairly as a terrorist because there were Arabic terrorists in the world was unacceptable when they suddenly realized there were Arabic terrorists in the world so they had The Undertaker seemingly kill him on screen and fired him in real life. I mean choking is absolutely unacceptable. Unless it's like with a boot or feet or something. Let's just stick to barbed wire bats and throwing people from great heights.

I apologize in advance for everything I say on here. I regret it immediately after clicking post.

BTW, the Hassan character was priceless. Went to a show in sacramento when Shawn Michaels kicked Hogan in the face. Buddy of mine and I were totally cheering him with 4-5 guys of arabic decent. They, like ourselves, were totally into it. BTW, I believe he was actually italian.

RTTingle

Wow.... shame I missed this.  Sounds like it was a good old fashioned 80's NWA beatdown.

Shame about the whole hanging thing.  Considering all the blood, chairs & tables smashed, falls from ladders --- they consider the choking thing most violent?  Whatever.

Makes me laugh cause several years back I was part of an E-fed, doing a cowboy & indian tag team --- and to have the feud kicked off I worked an angle out with the other team to have them rush us after a match and then hang us over the top ropes with nooses.  Good times.  :)

Any chance the mystery GM of RAW is

They don't even know yet. It's all done on the fly. WHich is cool as we can have weeks of who is the GM? I just think the payoff is gonna be week. Though, how cool would it be to see Paul Heyman or Jim Cornette revealed as the secret GM?
Long live Slaanesh, Prince of Pain!!!

GhostMachine

My guess regarding the mystery GM is it'll turn out to be Triple-H.

I really hope it doesn't turn out to be Shane or Stephanie, and I think its obvious its not going to turn out to be Vickie Guerrero unless they want to drive fans away in droves.

By the way, Bret Hart really is gone from the WWE....for now. He has an insurance policy with Lloyds of London and they were none too happy about what happened on RAW last week. But it was amicable, so he may eventually be back.

The reason for Bret's departure is he is getting married next month... to a woman nearly half his age.

As for the mystery GM... I think HHH is a definitely possibility.  Stephanie is a no-go as she is pregnant with her and HHH's 3rd baby.  Shane is not with the WWE so that is not likely.  I've heard a few people saw Michael Cole but I don't see that happening.  However, I going to go out on a limb here as to who the mystery GM is and say that it might be Abraham Washington.  There were rumors he was getting called up to RAW to be the GM before Bret's thing so that might still be the case.  Of course, I would love to see the GM be revealed as Bryan Danielson and the whole firing is a ruse.

GhostMachine

R.I.P. Lance Cade. He was found dead of apparent heart failure yesterday by his father. He was only 29.

(And sadly, its not a rumor. Has been confirmed)

thanoson

Yep. Sad, he was cool with Jericho.

Umm.... Danielson is back. Woot. Now if only Kaval can win the next season, we could see them fued. Btw, Darren Young looks like Cena in Black face if you take the hair away. GF and I noticed this tonight. Same features.

New unified tag belts introduced on RAW, so the Hart Dynasty doesn't have to carry two sets of belts around. The belts would look good if they didn't have Spartan/Trojan helmets on them. They look like they were designed by either Lane Kiffin or a diehard Michigan State fan.

Daniel Bryan being back is good, but they need to stop this crap with Michael Cole trying to bury him on the mic. Even when he's pro-heel Lawler doesn't badmouth faces that bad! (I suspect a Crossface might be in Cole's future, since they seem to be having Daniel Bryan using that instead of the Cattle Mutilation)

Wrong guy. Archer's partner is Curt Hawkins, who was Zach Ryder's tag partner as the Edgeheads. Lance Cade was tag partners with Trevor Murdock before they were both released. He was also Chris Jericho's lackey back when Jericho had that feud going on with Shawn Michaels in 2008. (Way before that, he wrestled in the WWE as Garrison Cade, with his hair bleached. Was Mark Jindrak's tag partner.)

thalaw2

Oh yeah!  Sorry about that.  I should check my facts better before posting.  Thanks for the correction!

RAW was stupid.

It was members of Nexus facing members of Team WWE in singles matches, with Nexus members banned from interfering, and Wade Barrett decreed that any member of Nexus who lost was out of the group. The only match not featuring Nexus was a 3 on 3 Divas tag, and the heels won. Two of the matches ended with the Nexus members winning due to countout, two involved interference by people who weren't Nexus members (and those interfering went after the Team WWE members, costing them the match (Randy Orton took Bret Hart's spot and got counted out due to Sheamus, and Daniel Bryan got the old `sneak attack roll up' because he was paying attention to the Miz and Alex Riley). Guess who was the ONLY member of Team WWE to win? Cena. He beat Darren Young, so Nexus is down to 6 members. (And I don't know if he had the new apparel at Summerslam or not, but Cena has a new cap and t-shirt, which are UGLY - in color AND design)

The only thing you really missed if you didn't see RAW was Bret Hart presenting the Hart Dynasty with new belts (which look stupid; they have Spartan helmets on them). They've made new unified tag belts, so no more carrying two different belts around.

A show with two wins due to countouts, one due to a rollup and a face only winning one match is idiotic to begin with.

Oh, and Cole is back to trying to bury Daniel Bryan on the mic. They need to end that crap quick, and I suspect it won't be long. (Cole is the Miz's second biggest fan (after the Miz himself) and Daniel Bryan is now feuding with the Miz; hopefully the feud ends up with the Miz either losing the MITB case or Daniel Bryan costing him the match when he cashes it in.)

Its not Cole being a heel that's the problem. The problem is he's only really acting heelish when the Miz is involved, and verbally trying to bury Daniel Bryan. Even when he was pro-heel Lawler didn't try and bury guys. The payoff HAS to be Daniel Bryan destroying the Miz/beating the Miz in a match with the MITB case on the lone/costing the Miz the match when he cashe in the case OR Daniel Bryan slapping a submission on Cole and keeping it locked on until security gets involved. Attacking Cole would be too heelish unless Cole gives him good reason, and badmouthing him on the mic isn't it.
