FFX Powers Not Working?

Okay, so I've been out of the game for a while and I must not understand this properly.

I just created Thor in FFX 3 with the attributes Fast Flier (with the Flier attribute) and Invulnerability 10, but when I play him in the game neither of the attributes seem to function. Is there something I'm not doing?

Did you run the FFX Control Center?

Thanks Spyder. I went in and saved it and it apparently worked. Thor is now flying at 8 speed and running at 5 speed :-)
