I've just got back into FF, and really want to get back into mapping and modding, specifically.

One of my first maps I'm planning to make is a Vietnam War milieu --- basically a jungle setting, maybe centered around a small village.  Could be a good place to take Bullet, or maybe even have The Watchmen's Doc Manhattan stomp thru the jungle vaporizing VC....

Anyho, I've already started a couple of VERY crude skins, and dear god, my skinning skills need some SRS polishing after, oh, I dunno, 5 years away from the game:




Using Tommyboy's Copter mesh, I've skinned a passable Huey, and the old FF Samurai mesh for a Viet Cong.
What I'd humbly like to request is a Samurai mesh variant that includes an AK-47 from the AKSoldier (and other meshes) for a more authentic VC; I'm perfectly willing to make the skin, if someone can mesh it....
Also, does anyone know a good mesh I could use for a village hut....?   I seem to recall someone making a small suburban house for old FF...I might be able to skin a thatched roof on that...
