I was searching the Irrational Games (yes, they went back to their old name) website for a clue as to what their next project would be, when I noticed this:

Be heard! Irrational Behavior wants to hear from you!

QuoteThis month, Irrational Behavior wants you to tell us what you especially liked or disliked about one Irrational game.

Call us up on our Skype account, Irrational.Games and leave a message with your name or username and we may use your message on a future episode of the podcast.

For those of us with a Skype account, I think this might be a great opportunity to let them know how much we loved FF and FFvT3R. That, and remind them of a loyal fanbase who would jump at the chance to purchase a FF3, as well as tell all of our gaming friends that they should give it a try, too.

Remember, they've released Bioshock 3 recently. Which is what they've been concentrating on until now.

Just to clarify, it's Bioshock 2 that was released, and Irrational had nothing to do with it.  They've been working on something else entirely.

Oops! My bad...

In my defense, the box for BioShock 2 says it's produced by 2K Games. But I see now that it was 2K Marin, not 2K Bostin (Irrational) that produced it. And while I was confused, there's been a lot of talk of BioShock 3, which is due to be released in 2011 (along with BioShock the motion picture).

The rumors i have heard is that Irrational's latest secret project is some kind of Greek Gods inspired game.

Freedom Force Versus Olympia?

....Please?

There were rumors that it would be a new X-Com game, but it's since been announced that 2k Marin's working on that.  As a first person shooter. And a series reboot.   Gag.

At least Irrational's not making this abomination, although there were rumors of two X-com games, a shoot and a strat game, so it is possible Irrational's working on it after all.  That would make me happier.

Obviously they've gotten ahold of our Liberty Bay outlines and have ripped off our ideas.....

Heh, seriously though, that would be fairly awesome, and I would gladly give my right arm for it. :D  Well...maybe my left instead, I'd have a hard time working the mouse otherwise...

Gotta be the left arm if you're gonna do it like the King of Atlantis, by golly...
