Sylar by tomato is the only heroes character that i'm aware of. it always surprises me that nobody took interest in doing this show's characters, even when it was popular. I mean we have ghostbusters, transformers, godzilla and even pokemon but actual super hero  who are almost carbon copy of the x men...nope.
i guess it has much to do with the fact that they have no costumes or uniform, it would just be regular bodies whith photoskinned head. in reflection it seems like a lot of work for not much result, i understand why no one spend time on this

Heroes aint the only one. Buffy The Vampire skins and stuff are almost non-exsistant. Star Wars only has a few, but then they usually require custom scratch-built meshes. Lots of people LOVE Firely, even if I dont care for it, and I dont think there are any skins of those guys.

The big two get the most love, it seems.

I love how there's this discussion on Heroes skins and meshes like no one wanted the characters. That's not how I remember it... I started doing a whole bunch, but I got a bit overwhelmed by the push for them and ended up burned out for awhile. I can assume, however, that one major reason was that A. they wear regular clothes (much more difficult) B. No one really has a set look... Sylar changed looks like 20 times in the first season, and he's only visible in what, 5 episodes?

Also, we have several Star wars MESHES, and from what I understand several Buffy character skins (I never pay attention to that genre though, so I have that info secondhand).

Eh? Buffy/Angel have skins and mesh alterations for the majority of their core casts (and they both have mods... finished or not). I know Star Wars has several skins, meshes, and hexes + a map or two under its belt. Also, I do recall Firefly having a few skins. But like always, it's interest + time based. We're not exactly rocking a large amount of content makers at the moment, and the ones we do have each happen to like certain characters that don't fit the medium of television.

damn! i know we have a master mesh list but i still wish we had real website with a search engine...i know i know, even linking to some creators website probably require permission and that would take an insane amount of work, but on the other hand nobody uses the master mesh list, it's sooooo much easier to make a request on the forum hoping someone already has what we're looking for. it still be nice to have a "master index" where you could either search for a creator or an item (fx/map/mesh/skin) and then be redirected to the correct website to get it.

Perhaps I should point out that Im not exactly complaining about the lack of tv/movie characters. I know there are skins of Buffy and the gang, but those are old. Almost from around the time the first game came out. Buffy was mega popular, and there are only a few skins. Im not angry about it, but thats how it is. People are more interested in the Big Two more than other stuff.

Im just saying that its kinda funny that other things that are really popular dont get more skins and stuff, thats all. Like Avatar skins and stuff. Avatar is huge, its a genre movie, but I havent heard anything about Avatar stuff here. I dont give a crap, I havent seen the movie, dont want to, but there you go. Just saying.
