The Hitman

Was on another forum where folks were discussing new series and returning shows. Thought it'd be a good thing here, too. I'll start:

Heroes- I'm on the fence on wheter or not the series will make it past this season, but with the inclusion of the "Super-Circus" as a potential big bad (as opposed to the Sylar cop-out) and a shortened season (18 eps down from 24, meaning less "filler episodes"), maybe the season will turn it around.

Community- I like Joel McHale, I think Chevy Chase is funny, and the premise is pretty good. This one won't last, though. Seems like the kind of show you have to watch to get, if you know what I mean. Kinda like Arrested Development. I can see it getting a solid cult following, but not much else.

V- Loved the original, can't wait for the new one.

The Office & 30 Rock- Goes without saying. I would like to go out on a limb and, at the risk of becoming unpopular, say that if Jim and Pam have a baby on The Office, this series is done for. The baby might as well be born while jumping over a shark on water skiis. With a haircut like the Fonz.

BWPS

I'll play too!

Heroes - The show dug itself into a hole of suck, I'm afraid. I really hate all the characters now so it'll have to do a big turnaround to be good.

Curb Your Enthusiasm - I would say that I'm worried that having a Seinfeld reunion on the show is just an attention-grabbing fanservice stunt and that the show will have trouble continuing with Cheryl and Larry being divorced, especially after how the series was supposed to be over. But I'm the fan they're servicing and I'm giddy with excitement. I think it'll be pretty good... pretty... pretty good.

Lost - I'm two seasons behind so this is going to be a fight for me to avoid spoilers til I catch up.

House - I love House and the last season wasn't bad if you ignore how boring 13, Taub, and Foreman are. But House and Wilson are always great, this is a show I'll never want to miss.

Community - Joel McHale and John Oliver are both so hilarious, and the trailers have made me laugh, I'm definitely going to watch it. Though even if its good it may get canceled, you know how TV is.

How I Met Your Mother - I hope this one just continues to be the funniest show on TV. I don't see why they shouldn't be able to do two more seasons without the plot getting too tired as long as ratings can stay good.

Bored to Death - Looks really good. Two awesome actors who I don't want to try to type the last names of. I mean that one guy is one of the best comedians and that other guy is so charismatic. And Ted Danson... well he's a real jerk, but that's ok. I mean he donates a wing of a building as anonymous and then tells everyone it was him. Ugh.

Psych - Already back, but really, this show is one of the best of all time. I hope it can keep up the goodness. It's hard to pick a favorite but this is probably it.
I apologize in advance for everything I say on here. I regret it immediately after clicking post.
