I just recieved an email from FunCom stating that they have heavily reworked Age of Conan so that its more fun. They will even give me a free level 50 character if I reactiviate my account.

Some of you might want to give it a look. Just FYI. I'm passing, I think.

That's just sad... "i've changed, i promise! please give me another chance!" sounds like the abusive ex-boyfriend running after the girl who dumped him.
But who knows, maybe the DID make some effort. Somehow I doubt it. That game was beyond repair.

Interesting - When in production this one had a lot of potential IMO. But reports of it being merely "playable" as opposed to before really doesnt hold a lot of weight.

Had it been like Guildwars where I buy it and I'm set I would have checked it out but I cant afford a monthly fee on something I'm not going to play much and that I'm only playing because I like the setting even though the game is not that great.

epic necro post :O

so i've been playing this for like 3 weeks now, I have a character slowly approaching level 60, and I gotto say it really is a good game now.
especially as EU has a RP server which is pretty fun, tho alot of guilds revolving around coutesans >_>

there's now an unlimited trial where you can play upto level 20 as many times as you like, you can still get the 2 week triel that lets you past level 20 but you need to get that from someone playing already.

i'm told the PVP is really good but i've only played the main game and raids, and the raids are really alot of fun.

Good to hear. I have been looking for something else to play. Maybe I'll revisit my old characters.
