Don't knock it. Make your own if you don't like it. Keyframe transfer some weapon-wielder keys onto a mesh. Play around with NifSkope. Learn to skin yourself.

People make stuff for FF because they like to, and they act on their own perogative. Don't insult people when somebody doesn't volunteer to make exactly what you want.

my social shortcomings aside. it isn't fair to just tell someone in a mesh request forum to do it themselves. no all everybody has an in depth knowledge of mesh making and the artistic talent to make skins. if we did the forum would not exist.

Dude, I think you're missing the basic point of these boards...

-You request, nicely, whatever you wish to see.
-We attempt to help you out.

The fact is, 80% of the time what you will get is not Renegade/C6 quality, as no one but they are that competent. Now, if what we provide does not meet your standards for whatever reason, you explain politely why it is not, and generally someone will help you. As Gremlin pointed out, there are many ways to use keyframe transfers for getting a variety of weapon animations, and someone could have done that for you had you been cool about it. You were not. You complained about them not having animations and basically demanded people go out of their way for a series very few people care about anymore.

What we all do, and I'm not just referencing the skinners, hexers, and meshers here but the regular contributors to the requests board as well, we do out of charity. To put it bluntly, your little claim of the forum not existing without us bending to everyone's commands... it's complete BS. The request board is mainly a place skinners use to see if anything pops out at them, and it really do not factor into the decisions of anyone on this forum, and YOU factor even less. Do you think C6 is going to see this thread and go "I should do MMPR because people say I should do them?"

This board... it exists, and thrives, because people request and fulfill requests while being polite about it. And as much as I may personally not like, at least from an artistic standpoint, the work of this or that person who make skins for people with requests... I respect them for what they do. Because I've done enough requests for people like you to know that an action preferable to helping you is to stab myself in the face.

So yeah, I agree with Gremlin: Until you have spent the years of training to learn how to skin, mesh, and animate, don't slam what you're given. We artists... we don't like that.

Vertex... tell him to get Virtual PC. I have Vista as well, but Virtual PC works well enough that I've been doing my meshes in there.

I'm with the Vegg head, I know what it is like to look for something. I also know what it is like to not find EXACTLY what you are looking for. Your appologies are i am sure appreciated, do don't take it too much to heart and learn from it. You just remember that speech and you'll be in a good place around here. Tomato, have do you remember haveing to give me a similar speech? I remember hearing it before, but, can't remember weather or not it was directed to me when i was just a baby in these boards.
