New FF player/forum member

Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to FF, still playing through the original game after picking up both cheap, and I thought I'd look around for some of the fan mods... and here I am! I've been lurking here for about a week, finding the good sites that are still around and looking for skins/meshes etc. to recreate my favorite characters.

I do have a couple technical questions about skins and so forth, but I wasn't sure if General was the place to do that. Yes, I know what happened with the FF forums  - will the mods move threads over to the FF forum once it goes back up?
