more inane questions ffx related

Ok here goes...


I have ffx3.3 installed.  I started using Blackbird in the rumble room (M25's allies mini mod) and noticed that her bird-rope - which should be a speed increase swapped to pull - was just increasing speed.  So, I ran the ffx control center on her and tried again.  No luck. 

I changed the power to a hex and swapped it to throw (I like throw better) and tried again.  No luck.  I ran it through the power id generator (she is a built in) and it works perfectly in the Power ID mini mod.  HOWEVER - her bird-a-rang power went from a 3 sflight spawn to a single (I swear I never touched it!) and now it does piercing damage AND throw. 

I am totally lost here.

Anyone have any idea what the heck is happening??

BTW I changed the bird-a-rang back to a 3 flight spawn in the editor, ran the power id generator and control center again and nothing changed - in fact, it is still not a 3 flight spawn even though I changed it.

1)  Sorry, I didn't see the bug reporting thread below.

2) I am trying a reinstall of FFX3.3 - just to be sure I don't have some DAT files that are screwy.

I recently downloaded ffq, it seems like a safe mod to add on to, how do i install the rest of the ffx attributes for  to it without destroying the integrity of the game

You downloaded FFQ?! I didn't know it was still available. It might have compatibility problems with more recent versions of FFX, as they include updated versions of the attributes in FFQ. Apart from the (non-)story, this mod was just a showcase for these attributes, so I wouldn't bother trying to tweak the mod. Still, thanks for the interest.
