(my ancient PaintShopPro couldn't read .dds files, so I had to install GIMP for the first time lol.  A skinner I used to fanboy over and the challenge of playing around with DM's beautiful port made the lurching progress towards learning something new worth it.  hah.)

CTool 1 didn't require the game, I think CTool 2 does (can't remember if it was required).  I'm still excited to be rediscovering meshes and skins.  Ctool2 is nicer, but 1 still works in a limited fashion for me (many meshes were messed up, haven't tried the fix)  I had my old installation backed up in-place, so if there's any mesh you know you're looking for, I can send if I have it.
