Female_Aclchemisshair_effect

I wanted to try out Afghan Ant's "Argent" skin. It calls for a "Female_Aclchemisshair_effect" mesh. But either that's a typo for AlchemissHair or the file itself is misspelled.

Using different spellings, I've done several searches through my own skin repository and various Google searches, but nothing comes up that could possibly fit. The only ones I could find are:

* alchemiss_basic (Just "female_basic" with the Alchemiss keyframes added.)
* alchemiss_effects (Just Alchemiss with glow, gloss, and alpha turned on.)
* alchemiss_straighthair (Just Alchemiss with straight hair.)
* alchemiss_straighthair_heels (Alchemiss with straight hair and heels.)
* alchemiss_straighthair_nocape (As above, but without the cape.)

The mesh I need literally uses a "female_basic" type mesh as a base and skin type, but it uses "alchemiss.tga" for the hair. Literally, it just has the Alchemiss hair scoped on a female_basic, but with the glow, gloss, and alpha turned on.

Hi. It's not a typo. It is a mesh by Fusion. I am sure it is in one of his old yahoo groups.

I did a search, and the group that it was supposed to be in is filled with spam, none of Fusion's meshes are there. I don't have it installed and don't have access to my external hard drive, but maybe someone else can send it to you. Good luck.

I had female_alchemisshair on my drive already, so I went ahead and inserted everything to turn the effects on. Let me know where to send it. Coincidentally, it comes with an Argent skin as the standard. It also doesn't come with keyframes. I have a set with mine, but I don't remember if I had converted them or not. I downloaded the original file and adjusted that one as I didn't know which version you needed (it doesn't need converting to FFVTTR, by the way).

FYI: Searching on FR World's Mesh List revealed that the actual file name was "fae.zip":

Yeah, you're right. It's too bad spammers weren't satisfied with spamming messages and had to trash the files section, too. It's so sad to see this stuff disappear like that.

Incidentally, Fusion's old website is gone now, too. And while archive.org has a partial copy of the site, practically all of the downloads are missing.

BTW: I used to think that the Internet Wayback Machine was the cat's meow. But, lately, I've found it doesn't work half the time and even when it does, a majority of the material is often missing - presumably deleted to make room for more stuff. These days, the site is more about electronic copies of public domain works and, more and more, a place to dump personal videos, commercials, movie trailers, etc. I'm assuming that's why they're deleting old website stuff, to make room to become yet another video host like YouTube.
